Indomaret a mini-network in Indonesia that provide basic needs and daily necessities with extensive sales of less than 200 M2. Managed by PT Indomarco Prismatama, the precursor to the opening Indomaret in Borneo and the first store opened in Ancol, North Jakarta. In 1997 the company developed the first business franchise outlets in Indonesia, after Indomaret tested with more than 230 outlets. In May 2003 Indomaret awarded "Franchise Company 2003" from President Megawati Sukarnoputri. Until May 2010 Indomaret reach 4261 stores. Of the total 2444 outlets that are owned and franchise-owned stores the remaining 1817 people, in all the cities in Greater Jakarta, West Java, East Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, Bali, Lampung and Medan. In Jakarta there are about 488 outlets. Indomaret easily found in a residential area, office buildings and public facilities because of the placement location of outlets is based on the motto "easy and efficient. " More than 3,500 types of food products and non-food available at competitive prices, meeting the needs of everyday consumers.
