Really simple mod- Modifies bloodfx.dat so that most shots from weapons result in the 'blood spurt' effect already in the game. No more blood clouds, just spurts. INSTALL - Back up 'bloodfx.dat' in common/data/effects, then replace. Bugs - sometimes the spurt comes out far away from the body, i think limiting spurts from arms and legs might help but I havent been bothered experimenting so far - though I plan to get in depth in changing the size of the spurt for each wound type. Shouldnt take too long. If its too much for you, then changing the values "blood_gun_entry_arterial" with either blood_shotgun_entry blood_sniper_entry blood_melee_blunt will result in their respective effects.
