Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Horseshoe Locations |
You will want to start from the Four Dragons Casion for these
Directions to help you. I recommend you have the Jetpack before trying to
find these to make it much easier on yoursself. You acquire the Jetpack
you complete the "Green Goo" Mission at the Abandoned Airstrip (where the
flight school is at) I will first be giving driving directions to find the
easier ones that you can find on foot and then I'll try to give directions
to the ones you will need the jetpack for (or use the Parachute to get the
Horseshoe it is up to you). These first directions you will not need the
Jetpack for they are just on the ground driving directions. I will point out
the ones you will need Jetpack for along the way with an optional sections.
This way you can at least have an idea where they are at. I also put it this
way for those that have not gotten the Jetpack yet and just want to get these
with a parachute or helicopter. If you already have the Jetpack just pretend
you are in a car when following the driving directions. If you don't have the
Jetpack yet just ignore the Optional sections. The first 39 Horseshoes you
can get on foot without using a helicopter, parachute or Jetpack. The
optional sections are there to make you aware of where the out of reach
horseshoes are along your travels of getting the horseshoes you can get on
foot.

Use your Jetpack to fly up to the Southwestern lower roof area of the Four
Dragons Casino to find the 40th Horseshoe
Location found at on the Map: Come-A-Lot
Go across the street to the east and use your Jetpack to get up onto the sign
of the Come-A-Lot sign to find the 41st Horseshoe.
Location found at on the Map: Come-A-Lot
Fly over to the northern area of Come-A-Lot (where the various towers with
spires are). You will find the 42nd Horseshoe on the northern most tower (the
one with no spire above it) with no spire.
Note: You should be standing in front of the Four Dragon Casino's doors for
these directions below
Location found at on the Map: Rockshore West
1. Get a car and head south down "The Strip" in front of the Four Dragons
Casino. Turn left onto the "JuLius Thruway" at the end of this street. Get
off at the "Rockshore" exit that comes up very quickly on your right. Turn
right at the intersection you come to and then turn right again at the next
intersection. Turn right at the next intersection and then left at the
next intersection (before the bridge that leads to Come-A-Lot) Park your car
at this first house on your right (the corner house after you turned near the
bridge). Go to the back of this house and you will find the 1st Horseshoe.

2. Get back into the car and turn left at the intersection up ahead. Turn
left again at the next intersection and then park your car in front of the
3rd house on the left. Go into the back of that house and you will find the
2nd Horseshoe.

3. Get back in the car and turn right at the intersection up ahead. Follow
this as it curves until you come to the railroad tracks in "Rockshore East".
Go past the railroad tracks and the fence right after it before you turn to
your right. Go along this west side of this building and turn left when you
reach the back of this building. You will see the 3rd Horseshoe above the
Dumpster on the east back side of this building.

4. Go back to the street you were on and go back the way you came. Turn right
at the first street you come upon on your right and follow it over the bridge
that goes over the :Julius Thruway" heading back into "Las Venturas". Turn
left on the first street you come upon after the bridge. Turn left into the
parking lot of the Wedding Chapel to your left. Park the car on one of the
sides of the Wedding Chapel (next to it's less slanted/inclined northern part
of the roof. Jump onto the roof of your car and then onto that part of the
Chapel's rooftop. Go to the front part of the Chapel to find the 4th
Horseshoe.

5. Leave the Chapel Parking Lot and turn left onto the street. Follow
this road around the curve up ahead heading north. Turn right at the next
intersection and then left at the first street you come to on your left (on
the corner is the Nude stripper building). Turn left down the alley after you
past the next intersection and park the car next to the staircase you find
here. Go up the stairs and face the building you will see the 5th Horseshoe
on the middle balcony to your right (jump off the roof above it to get up to
it).

6. Exit out of this alleyway to the west and then turn right onto the street
it comes out on. Turn left at the intersection and then turn right at the
first street you come to (on the street that goes under the Sphinx). Park
your car before you go under the Sphinx of "the Camel's Toe" and make your
way up the side of the pyramid casino building. Go all the way up to the
glowing light at the top of it at night only though (you can also drive a
motorcycle this building if you don't want to walk). You will find the 6th
Horseshoe here.
Note: You should be standing in front of the The Camel's Toe for these
directions

Use your Jetpack to fly onto the cememnt border that goes along the back of
the Camel's Toe to find the 43rd Horseshoe.

7. Get back into the car and continue down this street under the Sphinx. Turn
right at the end of this street and then make a left turn into the "Royal
Casino" Parking Garage building. Go up to the 3rd floor and when you reach
the top of the third floor ramp make a sharp right turn. Go down this road
between the ramp leading to the fourth floor and the ramp leading down to the
second floor. When you reach the end of it turn left and you should see the
7th Horseshoe (it is at the north west corner of the 3 floor in this parking
garage.

8. Leave the parking garage out the same exit you came in and turn right onto
the street. Go straight until you reach "The Strip" street. Park your car
when you get to the "Caligula's Palace". Go across the street to the left
(west) and you should be in front of the "Pirates in Men's Pants Casino". Go
over to the Skull island it has to the north and in front of the skull you
will find the 8th Horseshoe.
9. Get back in the car and turn right at the first street you come to (the
street on the north side of "Caligula's Palace"). Turn Right at the first
street on your right (the street that goes behind the "Caligula's Palace").
Turn left at the second street on your left (the street that goes behind the
"Clown's Pocket Casino").
Note: Skip past the Optional part below to continue on with the directions
for number 9.
Note: You should be on the street that goes behind the "Clown's Pocket
Casino" and along the side of the "Starfish Casino".

Location found at on the Map: The Clown's Pocket
Use your Jetpack to fly over to the front rooftop of "The Clown's Pocket" to
find the 44th Horseshoe in front of the striped circus rooftop.

Use your Jetpack to fly into the Shopping center to the east of the "Starfish
Casino". Land on the small ledge above the "Zip" Clothing store to find the
45th Horseshoe on it.

Use your Jetpack to fly over to the "Victim" Billboard above the "Julius
Thruway East" to the east of the "Clown's Pocket Casino" (behind the "Well
Stacked" Pizza place). You will find the 46th Horseshoe on the East side of
the billboard.
9 (Continued). Turn left at the end of this street and then turn left at the
end of this street. Go along the wrong side of the road and look for the
"Venturas Steaks Drive Thru" sign. Park your car near that rooftop and climb
up onto that rooftop. You will find the 9th Horseshoe behind that Drive Thru
sign.
Note: You should now be on the street in front of the "Venturas Steaks Drive
Thru".

Location found at on the Map: Old Venturas Strip
Use your Jetpack to fly over to the "Old Venturas Strip" to the Northeast.
You will see a big "Casino" sign on the building in the center of the "Old
Venturas Strip" area. You will find the 47th Horseshoe in front of the S of
that "Casino" sign.
Location found at on the Map: The Visage
10. Get back in the car and continue down this road on the right (correct)
side of the road. Curve to the right (west) with the road and turn right when
you reach "The Strip" Park your car once you have turned right and go across
the street to your left (west). Jump into the water where the waterfalls are
in front of "The Visage" Hotel and climb up onto the rocks that the water is
coming from. You will find the 10th Horseshoe under the flow water that is to
the right of the center waterfall.

11. Get back in the car and Turn right at the street up ahead (you should see
a 24/7 store to your right to make sure you are turning down the correct
street). Park your car at the alley that goes behind the 24/7 store and go
down that alley to find the 11th Horseshoe at the end of that alley.

12. Get back in the car and turn left at the end of this street heading
towards Roca Escalante. Turn right at the end of this street and follow this
street until you see it curve to the north. Park your car in the parking lot
of the Rock/Rack Hotel. Go into the back of this Hotel and find the 12th
Horseshoe in the pool up some stairs in the back of this Hotel.

13. Leave the parking lot the way you came in and turn left onto the street
to your left. Go across the bridge that goes over the "Julius Thruway" and
follow this road until it ends at the little shopping center in Creek. Go
along the alley on the right (east) side of this shopping center to find the
13th Horseshoe at the end of the alley.

14. Go back along the street you came on and turn left at the first street
you can (before you reach the bridge that goes over the "Julius Thruway").
Follow this road until it starts curving west. Drive straight onto the dirt
instead of curving with it. Go to your right (west) and down to the railroad
tracks. Follow these tracks to the northwest and you will see the 14th
Horseshoe to your left halfway through this tunnel (under the "Julius
Thruway").
Location found at on the Map: Southern part of Roca Escalante
15. Continue to follow the tracks to the northwest and when you get to the
first street in "Spinybed" that these railroad tracks cross turn left onto
that street. Go across the bridge here and then turn right at the end of this
street. Make a quick left down the street on your left and then make a left
at the end of this street. Turn right at the end of this street and you will
be on the street behind the Rock/Rack Hotel. You should see at the next
intersection a "Erotic Wedding Chapel" on your right after you pass the "Sex
Shop". Park your car near that silver cabinet (the traffic light control box
(sorry I'm not sure what else to call it)) that is right before the "Erotic
Wedding Chapel" sign. Climb up onto that Silver Cabinet (Traffic light
control box) and jump to the roof of the ("Erotic Wedding Chapel" to find the
15th Horseshoe.
Location found at on the Map: Northeastern part of the Emerald Isle
16. and 17. Get back in the car and turn right at the intersection in front
of you. Go down this road and then make a left at the next street. Turn right
onto the "Old Venturas Strip" street and then make a right onto "The Strip"
street. Follow this street until you see the police station on your right.
Turn left onto the street to the west of the police station (right before
the curve in the road where the church is at). Park your car before you
reach "Soapy's Car Wash" near the billboards pole on the east side of it
(the Soapy's Car Wash building is the building on your right after the Gas
station when you made your left turn). Climb over the wall that is right near
the Billboard pole on the east side of "Soapy's Car was" and you will find
the 16th Horseshoe Between the wall and the Billboard Pole. Now climb back
over the wall and Walk along the left (west) side of "Soapy's Car Wash"
building into the alleyway in front of the garages ahead to find the 17th
Horseshoe.
Note: You should now be on the street in front of the "Soapy's Car Wash".

Location found at on the Map: Western part of the Emerald Isle
Go west down the street in front of "Soapy's Car Wash" and to your left
before you reach the intersection you will see a very tall building. Use your
Jetpack to fly all the way up to the top of the Northwestern part of this
building to find the 48th Horseshoe.
Note: You should now be on the street in front of the "Soapy's Car Wash"
before doing number 18.
Location found at on the Map: the Emerald Isle
18. Get back in the car and Go to the end of this street. Turn left and park
your car right after you get to the passed the street on your right. Look to
the south and you should see a store here with a littl walled in back area.
You should see a Billboard high up near a store that says "Strain Hard" just
to make sure you are at the right place. Climb over into that walled in area
and you will find the 18th Horseshoe to the northwest of Billboard Pole in
this back area.
Note: You should now be standing where you got number 18

Location found at on the Map: the Emerald Isle
Use your Jetpack to fly up onto the rooftop of the store that you are in
back of and you will find the 49th Horseshoe in the center of it.
Location found at on the Map: Eastern part of Redsands East
19. Get back into the car and continue down this street. This street will
combine with "The Strip" street. To your right you should see a "Motel". Park
your car in front of the alley to the north of that Motel. Go down this alley
to the west and about halfway down this alleyway you will see a alleyway to
your right. You will find the 19th Horseshoe here.
Location found at on the Map: Eastern part of Redsands East
20. Go back to the car and park your car near the corner part of the rooftop
(northeastern corner of the rooftop). Climb up onto the rooftop after jumping
up on the roof of the car. Jump/climb up onto the higher rooftop in front of
you (to the west). Follow this rooftop straight until it ends and then to the
left (south). You will see two passageways on this upper part of the motel
that pass in front of the rooms of this floor. Go along the right (west)
walkway to find the 20th Horseshoe.

21. Get back in the car and drive south down the "the Strip" street and turn
right at the first street you come to. Turn right at the end of this street
and then left at the second intersection you come to. Park your car right
before you get to the bridge. To your right (north) you should see a building
here and a hedge in front of you. Climb on the hedge and then jump/climb onto
the roof of this building. You will find the 21st Horseshoe in the center of
this roof.

22. Get back in the car and go across the bridge in front of you. Park your
car after you have passed the first street on your left. Look to the south
and you should see a Casino building here. Look along the left (east) side
of the roof on a little ledge and you will see the 22nd Horseshoe. If you
don't have the Jetpack you can still reach it. You should see to the left
(east) of the casino building a red roofted building. Climb over the fence
that is near that red roofed building and use the hedge here to climb up onto
the rooftop of the red roofed building. Once you are up on the roof just walk
west and you can get on that little ledge that the horseshoe is on.
23. Get back in the car and turn right at the end of this stree up ahead.
You will see up ahead after you turned that this street will curve to the
left (west).

Location found at on the Map: Northern part of Redsands West
Use your Jetpack to fly over the wall to your right (east) and land on the
shipping crates near this wall to find the 50th Horseshoe.
23 (continued). Follow the street as it curves left (west) and then curve
with it south up ahead. Park your car near that greenish wall to your right
(the wall that is right before the big parking lot. Climb up onto your car
and climb up onto the side of the wall. Walk over to the edge of the wall
closest to the parking lot and you will find the 23rd Horseshoe here.
24. Make a U-turn and go back the way you came. Follow this street as
it curves to the right (east). Turn left at the street/bridge you come to on
your left (the bridge heads into the "Prickle Pine" area). Turn left at the
intersection you come to and then follow this road as it curves to the right
(north). Park your car right before you reach the railroad tracks. Look to
your left (west) and you should see two houses here. Go to the front door of
the house on the right (closest one to the railroad tracks) to find the 24th
Horseshoe.
25. Get back in the car and cross the railroad tracks. Continue to follow
this street as it curves to the right (east). Turn left at the first street
you can and park your car after you turn. Look to the West and you should
see a big house/building. Go over to that big house/building (the Yellow ball
Golf course building) and climb up onto the northern side of the rooftop to
get up onto the roof. Look along the back side of this rooftop and you will
find the 25th Horseshoe inside of a little window Alcove on the northwest
corner of this roof (near to where you climbed up at).
26. Get back into the car and continue straight )north on this street. Follow
this street as it curves east, then south and then east aqgain. Turn right at
the end of the street and follow this street as it curves to the left (east)
after the railroad tracks. Continue to follow this street as it curves to the
left (north) and then curve with it to the right (east).Turn to the right at
the end of this street (the street after the Xoomer Gas Station driveways).
Follow this street until it ends at the K.A.C.C. Military Fuels Complex. Go
into the gates of this complex and park your car near the door of the
warehouse to your left (north). Walk into that doorway between the shipping
containers that are blocking the doorway and go out of the door on the other
side of this building (to the east) When you get out of that door look to
your left in a little alcove/alley you will find the 26th Horseshoe here.
27. and 28. Get back in the car and leave this Complex. Follow the street
back the way you came and turn left when you reach the end of the street
(you should see the Burger Shot to your right and the Xoomer Gas Station to
your left if you went back the right way). Curve left (south), right (west),
and right (north) with this street until you reach a dead end. Park your car
facing south at this dead end (You should now be on the east side of the big
apartment complex with the pool and tennis courts that is east of the Yellow
Ball Golf Course). Go to the north of these apartments to find some tennis
courts. You will find the 27th Horseshoe at the southwestern most tennis
court. Head west from the tennis courts to find the pool. You will find the
28th Horseshoe at the top (north) edge of the pool.
29. Get back in the car and go south down this street. Follow it as it
curves left (east) and turn your car to the right (south) before you reach
the road/bridge on your right. Go across the dirt to your right to get onto
the "Julius Thruway North". Head west along this "Julius Thruway North" and
go along the right entrance ramp to get onto the road/highway leading out of
Las Venturas. You should see the back side of the "Welcome to Fabulous Las
Venturas" sign to your left. YOu will find the 29th Horseshoe under that
sign.
30. Make a U-turn and head back down this road/highway back towards Las
Venturas (on the correct side of the highway of course). When the
road/highway forks take the right path to get onto the "Julius Thruway West".
TGet off this "Julius Thruway West" at the first off ramp on your right that
you can (you should be entering the "Whitewood Estates" area. Turn right
onto the street at the top of the off ramp. Park your car before the next
intersection. Look to the southwest you should see a rather large building.
Go over to the corner of the building closest to you (the northeast corner)
and you should find the 30th Horseshoe above the bushes here.
31. Get back in the car and turn right (heading north). Follow this street
until you see a big red building on your left. Park your car facing south and
go behind that red building to find the 31st Horseshoe.
32. Get back in the car and Follow this street south. You will eventually
curve to the left (east) with the street. Park your car after the curve.
You will see to your right (south) "Greenglass College". You will find the
32nd in the center of that big circular area in front of the College.
33. and 34. Get back in the car and continue to the straight (east). Curve
with this road as it curves right (south) and then it curves left (east).
Park your car after you curve east and you are now at the "LVA Freight
Depot". Go southwest and you should run into a yellow building with slanted
signs that says "Sumo" on them. Go to the south side of this building and
you will find the 33rd Horseshoe. Now head southeast and you should see a
building here near the "Julius Thruway South". Go to the back of this
building and on the southeast side of this building you will find the 34th
Horseshoe down the loading ramp.
35. Get back in the car and continue to go straight (east) turn right at the
second street on your right and after you cross the bridge park your car.
Look to your right (west) and you will see a church ("Blackfield Chapel")
here. Go onto the roof of that church and you will find the 35th Horseshoe
on this roof near the front of this church.
36. Go to the Southeast and look under the bridge of "The Mako Span Bridge".
You will find the 36th Horseshoe under it.
37. Get back in the car and go north back up the street you were on. Turn
right at the end of the street and then turn left at the first street on your
left. Follow this street as it curves to the east and then turn left on the
street to your left (the street that goes in front of the Las Venturas
airport). Go to the north side of the airport and enter the airport through
the Pilot's entrance. Go to the back of the Main airport terminal and you
will find the 37th Horseshoe.
38. Head north towards the Hangars near the Pilot's entrance and you will
find the 38th Horseshoe between the hangars and the runway near them (to the
west of the shipping containers near the hangars).
39. Head to the northwest and you will find the 39th Horseshoe near the fence
of the northwest area of the airport.
You have now collected all the horseshoes possible on foot. You will now need
either the Jetpack, Helicopter or even just parachute out of a plane
to get the final 11 Horseshoes the choice is yours. I will recap as to where
the remaining 11 are at.
40. You will find the 40th Horseshoe on the lower Southwestern roof of the
Four Dragon's Casino.
41. You will find the 41st Horseshoe on the "Come-A-Lot" sign across the
street from the Four Dragon's Casino.
42. You will find the 42nd Horseshoe on a flat tower with no spire on the
northeastern part of the Come-A-Lot Casino's Rooftop.
43. You will find the 43rd Horseshoe on the cement border surrounding the
back of the Camel's Toe Casino (behind the Pyramid).
44. You will find the 44th Horseshoe on the front part of "The Clown's
Pocket" rooftop.
45. You will find the 44th Horseshoe on the small ledge above the "Zip"
Clothing store in the shopping center behind the "Clown's Pocket Casino".
46. You will find the 46th Horseshoe on a Billboard near the "Julius Thruway
East" to the East of the shopping center behind the "Clown's Pocket Casino".
47. You will find the 47th Horseshoe in front of the Big S of the big
"Casino" sign on the building in the center of the "Old Venturas Strip" area.
48. YOu will find the 48th Horseshoe on the Highest Northwestern part of
the Emerald Isle Casino.
49. You will find the 49th Horseshoe in the center of the store rooftop
Southwest of the Emerald Isle Casino.
50. You will find the find the 50th Horseshoe on some shipping containers
West of the Emerald Isle Casino in the Northern part of Redsands West.
Congratulations, You have collected all of the Horseshoes in Grand Theft
Auto: San Andreas! Your Gambling Luck has now been increased. You have now
unlocked the Combat Shotgun, Satchel Charges, M4 and MP5 at the Four Dragons
Casino.
