MAYE3: Nintendo Announces Game Boy Micro

Nintendo have today announced the introduction of a new system in the Game Boy franchise. Game Boy Micro is the latest handheld from the company, and will play all Game Boy Advance games released to date. The most attractive aspect of Game Boy Micro is its tiny profile, measuring just 4 inches wide, 2 inches tall and 0.7 inches deep. The console weighs just 2.8 ounces and features a 2 inch backlit screen and built in rechargeable lithium ion battery.

Now you've got no excuse not to carry a copy of GTA everywhere you go! Game Boy Micro will be released this Fall. Pricing will be announced at a later date.

 a new rehash....i guess nintendo isn't ditching the ds for the gameboy advanced 2 just yet but most of us have this think in bigger form..the sp maybe nintendos heard of it.

well anyways, i agree with the above either give us the friggin gba 2 with the its reported "gamecube graphics" or don't give us anythign at all...friggin nintendo first the network adaptor for a network that doesn't exist then a friggin release of the sp gba and now a new slimmer gba ...ooooooooooooohhhhh what marketign genious thought this one up?

well least it's not a "ds sp" that woudl really piss people off almsot as much as when the ds gets dumped for the gba 2 if and when it ever surfaces. but honestly is nintendo stuck on stupid?

 Whats the point of that?? I mean its just a smaller gameboy...PSP is different because it does more than just play games...I don't think that gameboy micro is a great idea from Nintendo.

 ok, after looking at this Ive got two questions for Nintendo and fans.... WHY?? AND WHO CARES??? well ive got more questions too... like, is this suppose to compete with the sony psp? youve got to be kidding, Nintendo is officially out of it

 that GameBoy Micro is nice, but dumb all roll into one. the DS is small, use that and dont spend more than you have to.

 I already have a DS that fits in my pocket perfectly and the wierd thing is that
I have gta in the gba slot all the time.
anyway, that's really small, that means the screen is smaller! (who would want a
smaller screen if the SP is a good enough size)

 U guys miss the point, this system is like a cheap small rehash that u can just play all ur old games on. Like a cheap entertainment sys for the kids, and it wont cost an arm and a leg, and uses games that some of the kids mates might have, so its more a poor-mans gb than nething else. PSP is a completely different market, PSP Rules!!

 I don't know, that thing sounds just like a GBA, only you have to fork over even MORE money for a rehash system. Better off with PSP.
