San Andreas PC Version (Triple Update)

GTA: San Andreas - General News | @ 12:18 AM MDT | By Zidane
Gamespy, Gamespot and IGN have all been updated with some fresh, hands-on news of San Andreas for the PC, complete with stills and articles on key differences.

Gamespy's update has some info on the game's story, some differences and upgrades for the PC version, and some new stills.

Gamespot's section really brings out the astonishing new and improved textures, also some details on the controls, replay mode, and what to expect as the new and improved, MP3 player/"12th Radio Station".

IGN's preview holds some stills, and focuses on the improvement in textures, and gameplay in general, (loading times, controls, etc).

Give these guys a good read, you really should!

great articles, great pictures, PC version looks much better graphically, but Im getting the Xbox version to go with the PS2 version. I got the new Game Informer magazine in the mail today, and their calendar page has Grand Theft Auto PSP being released on May 2nd, of course that seems bogus now. But this is a good sign to start seeing news popping up again on GTA, more to come in the coming E3 weeks...

Yeah CJ does look a bit taller, and that's good because on PS2 he was a little midget compared to everyone else on the game.

In that one screen of the hood with the slamvan near CJs house looks as thought R* have added more foliage ie.( Trees shrubs and such) to make San Andreas more alive!

You can even see the rocks in the pavement now thats detail!!!
Right On

Good Move R*

But I still can't see any differnce in the draw distance by looking at the screens so far.

Yeah, there is MTA, and I've played it. I was hoping Rockstar would add multiplayer, so we wouldn't need a mod for it. Oh well...

lmao, yeah, CJ was very short in the PS2 version, glad they made him a little taller. There is now actual shadows, like at GameSpots thing, the motorcycle drive-by pic, you can see CJ's shadow on the ground...a detailed shadow...not a square

i think the first mp3 songs that i will put will be the entire vice city soundtrack

and what do you think of the new game by rocktar called "the warriors". i have read that it will be like grand theft auto free roaming style and much more. i think i have read that your character will get a lot of cuts in the body while you progress in the game.

looks fantastic..aslo makes the job of these guys http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=152461&st=280 alot harder.

but i'm glade that the games architecture is realitively the same as vices cause i know the mutlitheft auto people working on sa thought it would be and thank god they are right cause it should make for an easier time making multitheft auto sa.
