Are we going back to Los Santos? - General News | @ 08:10 PM MDT | By Ash_735
Rumours are strife at the moment, we're sure you've read things here and there about domains being registered (which Take-Two have done in the past to also throw people off) and then we've had editors tweeting about a certain game being "interesting". Now, over on The Agency website, they've listed a new project "RUSH" which is tied to Take-Two Interactive, who as we all know are Rockstar Game's parent company. And here is the cast they are looking for actors for:
Mitch Hayes:
38 – Annoying, wise cracking, highly successful FBI agent. In great shape. Does triathlons, drinks low cal beer, but still has a sense of humor.

Miguel Gonzalez:
25 Young Mexican American FBI agent, caught between a few mob bosses. Very clean cut

23 – Moronic, almost inbred and creepy white trash hillbilly. Very naïve but in a creepy ‘it’s only incest sort of way’

Brother Adam:
Welsh monk / cult leader / yoga teacher – 50, very lithe, very into exploring your personal tension through gripping massage. Needs Welsh accent.

Mrs Avery:
Neurotic soccer mom, home maker, 48, anxious and addled on pain killers. Very angry at neighbor MRS Bell.

Mrs Bell:
Swinger, and mellow Californian divorcee. 45. Ugly but comfortable with self.

47 – Weed evangelist, guy who started smoking at 30, and is now a leading proponent of marijuana’s fantastic properties. White, awkward.

Ira Bernstein:
56 – publicist for an actress known as America’s newest sweetheart who just so happens to love animals, orphans, drugs and sex. He’s always trying to hide her latest indiscretion.

Kevin De Silva:
18 – Albert’s fat, FPS playing gamer son. Smokes a lot of weed, has anxiety issues and a card for a bad back, very soft, very opinionated. Into making racist comments while playing online.

Harut Vartanyan:
42-52 years old – Armenian car dealer, moneylender, would be Fagin and would be bully. Heavily connected to the underworld, but irritates people so much no one likes him.

Nervous Jerry:
48 – paranoiac living in the sticks, near Simon, completely paranoid, and terrified of Simon.

Calvin North:
55 – clapped out FBI agent who now mostly works offering advice on TV shows – whose only claim to fame turns out to be entirely false – but a decent guy in other ways. Badly dressed. Divorced. Putting on weight.

Jerry Cole:
53 – disabled IT expert and criminal information vendor.

Rich Roberts:
English hardman actor, 35, who acts tough but who wants to do serious work - the only problem is he can't quite read the words.

white 52 yr old loosie goosie hippy rich guy who has lost his money and is getting desperate but trying not to.

45-52 years old – unshaven female spiritualist and hippy with a love of exploring the wilderness. Very into journeys.

29 – pretty boy misogynist Beverly Hills party boy. Made money, but not as cool as he thinks he is.

Tae Wong:
39 – somewhat incompetent Chinese mobster, loves doing ecstasy, going to raves.

Taes Translator:
45 - VERY STRAIGHT LACED Chinese translator, terrified of his boss’s dad. Male, awkward. Needs to speak Chinese.

Now, of course this is still a rumour but we do know that Grand Theft Auto went under a different name in the past, Michael Hollick (the voice of Niko Bellic) revealed that Grand Theft Auto IV was titled "FROZEN" during the casting phase. So make of this what you will, we'll be interested in hearing your theories.

Great to finally see some news about possible future GTA's... though I don't see why it would be Los Santos, I can't see anything obvious that would hint towards this. Pretty cool though.

There are some clues such as "Californian divorcee" and "Beverly Hills party boy" that are making people lean towards Los Santos.

If this is for the next GTA, I doubt the location would be Vice city because there are no Cubans or Haitians needed in the cast, and Miami has a really huge population of both. So it's either Los Santos or San Fierro, given the whole "cult leaders" and marijuana thing. And in San Andreas, the Mexican mafia and Chinese Triads were all located in San Fierro. But there is still the possibility of Los Santos.

It seems to hint at LS, but I don't think Rockstar would set LA Noire and GTA5 in the same city, they're too close together. Maybe its Seattle? I hope not. Something tropical this time around please!

Vice City or Honolulu please!

We ain't going back to LS (yet)
We either go to VC (Which I would realy like, personally) or we go to a new city (Which I doubt)

But we will definitely NOT see/hear about any GTA news until as early as next year I will guess.
And if they are making GTA 5, we won't even hear about it until the next generation of gaming console is out... (Well PS3 is broken so they might push it out earlier than expected)

I live in CA and those definitely sound like Californians to me. The weed references, the paranoid suburban mom, the wannabe celebrities, and the seemingly large number of latinos who are a part of the cast.

I'd rather have a new city to be honest.

New city, new drugs, new gameplay.

All I'll say is Mrs. Bell may very much be related to Mr. Phil Bell, the divorced mobster from GTA IV.

This looks much more like R* to me...

(18-25 Male United States)
A liberal young male who believes in a conspiracy made by republicans to undermine America.

(30-40 Male United States)
A white creepy man who thinks that technology is a poison against the wilderness.

(40-45 Male United States)
A man-boy love activist who just got released from an Indonesian prison.

(20-25 Female United States)
A young female obsessed with sex parties, always dreaming of being a Hollywood celebrity.

(10-15 Male United States)
