Rockstar goes big with mural... again!

GTA: Chinatown Wars - General News | @ 03:25 PM MDT | By rappo
You may remember before Grand Theft Auto IV's release, we reported on a massive artwork mural found in Downtown Los Angeles. It seems like Rockstar Games is at it again with the "larger than life" advertising - this time for GTA: Chinatown Wars.

The same building that featured the GTA IV mural is now home to three towering paintings of previously seen Chinatown Wars artwork, pictured to the right. Another view of the mural is available here.

For those in the area that are interested in seeing it, the mural is located on the south side of the Hotel Figueroa, located at 939 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA.

Is it a new mural or has it been there for a while? Because it still says 'coming March 17th'

LOL!!!

I was driving down that street this weekend and saw that. I thought it was hilarious. It is REALLY huge, they usually do some pretty big ads there.

I don't remember seeing it before but I think it might have been put up around the game's release date. I've seen new posters for the Lost and Damned around the area too.

I'm not sure when it was put there. I hadn't been that way in a while until yesterday, and that's when I first noticed it. I feel like if it was there before March 17 I would have seen it though, because there's absolutely no way to miss this ad when you're driving north on the freeway.

Didn't know you lived in LA too, Rappo. Yeah it's a hard ad to miss especially since Fig is a pretty major street. Didn't know that you could spot it off the 110 though.

Yeah I took those pics :P And the GTA IV ones.

You can see it from the 110 for a bit - used to be more of a view but LA Live and all that stuff is sort of blocking it up now. Still visible though!

Yeah I figured LA live would get in the way. Definitely sticks out when you're driving down Fig though.
