Chinatown Wars rated 18 by BBFC

GTA: Chinatown Wars - General News | @ 07:16 AM MDT | By Neil
When Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars goes on sale in the UK on March 20th, it will set a precedent as the first Nintendo DS title to receive the British Board of Film Classification's highest game rating - 18.

The game is said to contain "very strong language and drug references", in an environment which includes the majority of the Liberty City seen in GTA IV. Gamers in North America can look forward to the game three days earlier, on March 17th.

How many M-rated DS games are there? I'm guessing not too many...

Yeah, the fact that Nintendo is expanding their territory in adult gaming makes me really disregard headlines like these. Sales as a result of contrived controversy is like the latest Brittany Spears episode validating her planned popularity.
