Three new screenshots of The Lost and Damned

Grand Theft Auto IV - General News | @ 01:30 PM MDT | By Ash_735
Over at the page for the Grand Theft Auto IV DLC “The Lost and Damned”, Microsoft have posted three new screenshots of the add on as well as a little blurb confirming what we already know:
Developed by series creator Rockstar North and set in Liberty City, Grand Theft Auto IV™ The Lost and Damned™ features a new main character, Johnny Klebitz, and plot that intersects with the storyline of Grand Theft Auto IV; new missions that offer an entirely fresh way to explore Liberty City with new multiplayer modes, weapons and vehicles; and a diverse soundtrack with additional music—all with the incredible production values that are the trademarks of Grand Theft Auto.

I think I would quite enjoy introducing a bat to someone's face while on a motorcycle.

This is my first post into such a great site, amongst cool people some of whom I'll agree and disagree with from time to time I'm sure.

Now that that's done I noticed something about the second capture, the weapon the main character is wielding in particular. It looks like it could be a M1911A1 .45 but I could be wrong as to its caliber and make but this is definitely one of the promised additions to the GTA IV weapon cache.

Also I speculate whether or not with the addition of baseball bat melee on certain vehicles if we would be able to dual wield weapons. If this is confirmed in the coming months this could make for very interesting gameplay both in single player and online, very interesting indeed. : )

oh my... dual wield on xbox would be wonderful. i'm sure it'll be a PC mod somewhere down the line, but it would be nice to have it on xbox, too :)

NoFate, I noticed the different gun too and what you suggested seems pretty accurate, especially since it stands apart from the other 2 glocks.

I'm not sure they'll be going with dual-wielding especially if they want to maintain the "sense of realism".

NoFate, it appears that you may be correct with your weapon assumption. The upper slide appearance and pistol grip angle does closely resemble the M1911A1. I just hope that 360 users have a beter fate than the PC fans.

The DLC is sounding more appealing! Hoping the new vehicles isn't limited to motorcycles. Also hoping the weapons aren't just a couple of pistols... AND here's hoping there's a silenced pistol. Less police attention?

I'm so glad that I didn't get rid of my copy for the Xbox 360 just because I plan on getting the PC version, I am going to have a lot of fun with this version until then.

I don't know much about Microsoft Points. Do we have to buy them or are they what we get for getting achievements?

Microsoft Points in the online currency Microsoft use. Depending on where you are they cost differently. GameStop are selling "The Lost and Damned" online code (bypasses the need for points) with a poster for $19.99. Currently in the UK, you can buy 2100 Microsoft Points for £17.50.
