IGN confirms GTA IV delay and system requirements

IGN have now confirmed that the PC release date of Grand Theft Auto IV has been pushed back to the 2nd of December. They say that Rockstar havenít released a reason behind this, however IGN have also put up the System Requirements for the game:
Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / XP - Service Pack 3
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz, AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz
Memory: 1.5GB, 16GB Free Hard Drive Space
Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA 7900 / 256MB ATI X1900

Recommended System Requirements
OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / XP - Service Pack 3
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz, AMD Phenom X3 2.1Ghz
Memory: 2 GB (Windows XP) 2.5 GB (Windows Vista)
18 GB Free Hard Drive Space
Video Card: 512MB NVIDIA 8600 / 512MB ATI 3870


Note: The Euro release date for the game remains unchanged for now.

I meet the recommended requirements. Hurray! As for the release being pushed, oh well. A later release is better than a buggy release. What's an extra two weeks when you've been waiting an extra 7 months?

16GB hard drive space? That is insane. If that is truly the case I will lose a lot of respect for Rockstar Games' PC development capabilities...

How can I find out which type of Vista I have, I have a HP a6350z that is custom built I have 2gbs of ram, and 500gb of hard drive Please help me out, im new here.

16GB is a problem for people these days? I could buy a 500GB drive with the money it costs on the PS3 for the game.

18GB?There is no problem for me cuz I have 500GB HDD,so It's very exiting!
About the OS,I have XP SP3 and Vista Ultimate installed...

I doubt it will require a certain service pack, that is just what they tested it on and it's usually recommended to have the latest service pack anyway. Yes it will work on home editions, they wouldn't restrict it to only certain edititons.

I play Crysis on everything high,but only SHADOWS off :P and AA off.And Its plays great.
I got:
2GB DDR1
HDD 250 GB
ATI Hd 2600 PRO AGP
Windows XP PRO Sp3
AMD 1.80

I got now probleem with 18Gb for GTA IV just give it to me,i play it on low if i need it to...
Don't care just must have it :D

i have a NVIDIA 8400 GS (150mb) video card and as far as OS its vista home service pack 1...with 2 GB ram and core 2 duo processor of 1. 8ghz...will the game run fine?????
