GTAGaming Presents: Vice City Precedent |
Over the next several weeks everyone will have the opportunity to take part in Vice City Precedent. This contest is much like the game Horse, where one person shoots a basketball from a position on the court, then the next person has to mimic their shot and make the basket. Once they do, that person then sets the precedent for the next person. So basically, the 1st stunt that is done you will have to mimic it to a close resemblence. We understand nothing can be exactly the same in life, or in games, so if it's close then we will accept it. The 1st person to mimic the stunt wins the opportunity to set the precedent with any stunt of his/her choosing.
Once you have succesfully copied the stunt. precedents@gtagaming.com is where you will E-mail your replay. Along with your replay please also e-mail us a new stunt that you would like to become the precedent.
-General Rules-
1. Weather doesn't matter.
2. Multi Theft Auto isn't allowed.
3. You have to be living when you land the trick.
4. People (if they are on the bike or in the car its fine) aren't part of the trick. Ex. You slam your car into a wall, do a backflip squishing a person on your landing, a bonus yes, but not part of the trick.
5. No modifications or cheats allowed.
6. Once you feel you have resembled the existing trick, go create your new precedent, and send both replays in the same email. If you were the winner you will find out on the site.
-How To Submit-
1. Press F1 to view your last 30 seconds.
2. Press F2 to save your last 30 seconds.
3. This will save as "replay.rep" in your GTA Vice City User Files folder.
4. Press F3 to view this replay, or rename it and then name something else replay.rep to view the new one.
5. Send in something like "complete.rep" and "new.rep" to precedents@gtagaming.com
-Other Information-
1. Remember that to view the downloaded videos you will need RealPlayer.
2. As an alternative you can use the Real Alternative codec.

The contest will end on April first. The times will be calculated into a first, second, and third place depending on how long your stunt lasted before someone beat it, then posted on news. It is also very likely that all stunts will be compiled into a film. What do you win? Bragging rights. To all of you stunters out there, that's more important than something material.

Description of Stunt: Do a tandem [with a passenger] 540 degree spin and land on the roof of the building.

Location: Building with ramp inside, next to Downtown PD and across from FD.
Description of Stunt: Go up the ramp and pull a barrel roll while shooting.

Location: Stairway behind Police Department in Downtown.
Description of Stunt: Ride up stairs, hit the wall, grind down the rail with Sanchez. 360 is optional.
