360 UK Detail

Grand Theft Auto IV - General News | @ 04:44 PM MDT | By Kodo
Here is a minor detail from the weekend coming from the 360 Magazine UK.
Rockstar promised us that other cars would prove far more difficult to penetrate and that the police would be far savvier when it came to spotting stolen vehicles. Broken windows will get you noticed in Liberty City.

This is yet another detail relating to GTA IV's unprecedented level of realism. What happens when a cop sees a stolen car, do you pull over, or do you get a star and start the chase? I hope the second trailer displays the new, more realistic side of the LCPD.

....Don't make it TOO realistic.
I don't want stars eveytime I'm seen in a stolen car!...Or maybe I do.

Whatever I'm sure R* is making the right decision.

I think it would actually be very interesting, cause maybe.. just maybe, R* has put in different ways to break into cars? (Smashing windows, picking locks, etc..) which means.. if you choose to smash the window, you pull over, maybe the Police will talk to you, and you push UP for YES or DOWN for no? On PS3 and on Xbox360, the same thing.. A for YES, or B for no.. would really be cool.. as that had it in San Andreas, for some missions, you had to click UP for yes, or DOWN for no.. I'd like that.. in my oppinion

If you push the wrong arrow, then they try to get you out of the car? but if you drive off, you start a chase.. if they drag you out, you are arrested?

good point there... i prefer being trouble-maker cuz it's always fun to play around wiv those police and it will take your time to try to lose them. Anyway, R* has a better decision in making GTA more realistic BUT not TOO realistic where everyone can 100% enjoy playing it. hope to see a lot of new and creative acts in d upcoming GTA ^^
