RUMOUR: 2K Czech helping with Grand Theft Auto V?

Grand Theft Auto V - General News | @ 03:00 PM MDT | By Ash_735
Only a rumour for now folks, but apparently the 2K Czech studio is helping Rockstar with Grand Theft Auto V according to a "source" of the VG24/7 website:
A source told us the Czech studio has been working on the game for almost a year, putting its cinematic expertise to work in producing animations for cutscenes and general gameplay.

For an example of their work, check out the cutscene from the popular Mafia II in the below video:

It's worth mentioning that the cutscenes were probably the best part about this game.

Mafia III is officially in production though... Is it being made by different people now or something? I certainly cannot see them helping out a main competitor like that. I tweeted to R* and got no response as usual haha.

You could argue that they're not necessarily competitors. Mafia and GTA are created by 2K and Rockstar respectively, both of these companies are owned and run by Take-Two. So, while they are different producers, them working together is not impossible.

Take Two definitely want to see Mafia take off as a massive franchise, if the rumour is true then 2K Czech and Rockstar North are also swapping resources in order to better each others franchises. Makes sense to me.
