For the Fans: A Small Update - Community News | @ 02:05 PM MDT | By Ash_735
As most of us know Rockstar is busy with Red Dead Redemption and it's DLC along with a load of other projects that still need to come out, such as L.A.Noire and Max Payne 3, so news and announcements regarding Grand Theft Auto are a bit on the slim side. In that case this post is to just highlight some of the fan videos that have been posted on our forums.

First up we have a new machinima posted by Slapdown called "Two Steps Ahead":

Here we have a couple of videos by forum poster Big Fella, who goes under the name DanK in his videos, giving us a stunt montage and trying something different with a sky diving video:

To end the fan videos off here is a short and sweet NRG stunt montage video by ucantrunaway:

We do appreciate the video submissions on the forums and look forward to what new and interesting ideas you guys can come up with! Just as a reminder, Rockstar Games are hosting another Multiplayer Event for the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City on the 30th of September 2010 between 4pm and 7pm EST. Also, there is little over a month left to cast your vote in the 28th Annual Golden Joystick Awards, voting ends on the 25th of October 2010. As mentioned in a previous news post:
This year Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars appears in both the Downloadable Game of The Year and the Portable Game of The Year categories. Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City makes an appearance in the Soundtrack of The Year category and Rockstar North shows up as a contender for the UK Developer of The Year.

Of course Rockstars latest game Red Dead Redemption has managed to get into the shortlist to, appearing in the Action Game of The Year and the Ultimate Game of The Year categories.

To wrap things up, nestled between all the Red Dead Redemption posts on News Wire, Rockstar are currently holding a small video editing competition, this one being titled "Fight Club", where the winner will receive a custom built "Liberty City Cage Fighter" PC:

You can read more about that and the Rules over on the Rockstar News Wire page.
