I love playing around on free roam with the flying parachute. I don't think I'll be updating my game.

I don't think they're removing the actual glitch guys. "The upwards velocity of parachutes is now capped". It doesn't say anything about removing the parachute glitch. When you're doing the parachute glitch you can go too high and go over the the altitude cap. Their probably just making it so you can't do that anymore.

Well velocity meaning speed, they are probably limiting the speed becuase alot of times if you go too high too fast the parachute will disapear and that gets annoying so maybe they are helping the glitch by not letting you go fast enough to loose the parachute. I've read somewhere they enjoy using the parachute glitch themselfs aswell in free roam.

@KkevinCrazy You're probably right, cause Rockstar isn't the type that removes glitches unless they make the came unfair, which is why they are removing the Infinite Nitro glitch

You know, it would probably be smart to release a sandbox GTA title before their next major GTA Series release. If you haven't noticed, GTA in its current iteration is not quite the pinnacle of sandbox gaming it once was in its earlier, more content heavy, heyday. The problem is their trying to get more serious with the game as a whole and they are shunning or leaving out those who became fans of the series in the early top-down days of GTA. And so, what I'm getting to is this, if Rockstar has a superb gaming engine that's in further development alongside the development of their next major GTA title (which they do), why not just release a multiplayer and single player package bundle loaded with goodies for the fans to enjoy. There's no need for development of a serious storyline and mission campaign, keep the storyline to a minimum and enhance the content and quality to the maximum. This way you can:

A. Curb the appetite of the GTA fan who's in great anticipation for the next iteration.

B. Never suffer from fanbase complaints of boredom after a major release.

C. Promote your next installment of GTA (kinda like those car shows, except the gamer actually gets to test drive).

And lastly,

D. Build up the anticipation for the major release which will increase the fanbase through gamers speaking to other gamers.

The beautiful thing about this is you always have the marketplace to add additional assets and essentials to the game, the limit of content would depend on the gamers hard drive space. It would likely spike hardware sales for all major consoles and PC which works out well with Sony and Microsoft partnerships.

Thank god they fixed that stupid parachute glitch. Too many noobs online doing it to get away in deathmatches.

@NoFate: Tons of people play GTA mostly for the storyline, so that wouldn't work at all.

@LCstuntman,...And? If you want me to take your comment seriously your going to have to elaborate, like an adult with some sort of decorum. Until then, your comment only serves as self indulgence.
