Ballad of Gay Tony: Soundtrack Details

Grand Theft Auto IV - General News | @ 01:43 PM MDT | By Slim Trashman
The official Ballad of Gay Tony website has been updated with new information on the game's soundtrack details. Among the station updates include Electrochoc, K109: The Studio, and Vladivostok FM.

Perhaps the most exciting news, however, is the inclusion of a brand new, Episodes From Liberty City exclusive station, Vice City FM, bringing the best of the 1980s to Liberty City, hosted by Fernando Martinez. Fernando has made numerous radio appearances throughout GTA history, but is most prominently remembered for hosting Emotion 98.3 in Vice City.

Rockstar promises that there are still more soundtrack updates to come. New audio previews are available below:

That's BULLSHIT!! Keeping a whole Radio Station exclusive to Disc, what about all of us who are going to buy over LIVE because we already got The Lost and Damned??

Still, apart from that low blow, the rest of this is actually very good, and yay Rockstar, a Stereotype Mancunian DJ is just what we needed. :D

That's what you get for buying Lost and the Damned twice. Luckily for me I'm buying the disc anyway, so I think it's a cool bonus.

Still rather un fair, a bit of a "Fuck you" to those 1 Million+ people who supported Rockstar by buying their first DLC outing only for them to turn around and go "Oh by the way, we didn't tell you this, but we're holding back exclusive content for the Disc version, sorry, bye!", If Rockstar said this back in Feb before TLAD was released then it would of been fair, but they didn't, this was literally sprung a few hours ago.

Regardless of who has been screwed over by whatever "exclusive" features, it's nice to hear Fernando's voice again.

The same argument could have been said 6 months ago with people who didn't have hard-drives. Making you download the episode, but if you didn't own a HD then tough.

There was no way I'd have waited 6 months for a disc version and an extra radio station. I bought LATD and was planning on downloading BOGT until they announced the disc version. I'm a sucker for physical copies.

Its annoying having to pay twice for something, but R* always deliver stuff that's well worth 3x the amount they charge. Everything they release its absolutely excellent. You can't deny that.

It was clear that you'd need a Hard Drive though, that's a Microsoft issue not a R* Choice, this is purely a R* choice. And no, not everything they release is excellent, this current "Activision" move is further proof of that, punishing the fans in the gaming industry is just a stupid greedy move.

edit: Just to make it clear, I am not buying Episodes from Liberty City, I will download the Ballad of Gay Tony from Xbox Live, I just find it rather sad that I've paid more for the content yet I'm not worthy to listen to Vice City FM.

Kinda crappy of Rockstar to keep that exclusive.
I don't see why they couldn't add a voucher assuming you have both LATD and BoGT on your Hard Drive.

But whatever, it's still an amazing package. Fernando is cool but it's hardly a deal breaker to pick this up or have a bone to pick with R*.

Get the hell out off HERE!

I was just listening to Nu Shooz - "I can't wait" I was wondering how awesome it would have been to listening to it on Vice city, I got a bunch of other 80s songs so that my radio station in vice played 80s...

Now I just feel weird.

And I am pissed that I won't be able to listening to Fernando in my 360 since I already own TLAD, and I am not going to get a game twice.

interesting that they added an exclusive 80's station and even brought back fernando from the other gta universe didnt realize he was that popular of a radio host. kind of sad that its going to be a disc exclusive but then again ive listened to most of those 80's songs over and over again and i wont be to sad that its not in a game.

This episode is getting better and better every time, it's like a mix of San Andreas gameplay with Vice City vibe... awesome.
