TIME honors Houser brothers

Grand Theft Auto IV - General News | @ 01:56 PM MDT | By Slim Trashman
TIME Magazine annually generates a list of the world's most influential people. This year's issue listed Sam and Dan Houser, the founders of Rockstar Games, as two of the world's most influential people under the "Artists & Entertainers" category, without a doubt due to the incredible success of Grand Theft Auto IV.

Matt Selman, an executive producer of The Simpsons, writes the story on the "addictiveness of the brothers' universe" and their success:
Who better summarized and satirized the drug-dealing Miami of the '80s? Or the New York City of now? The Housers are doing the work of Tom Wolfe, creating tapestries of modern times as detailed as those of Balzac or Dickens. At least, I assume that's true. Instead of reading those guys, I've been in Liberty City stealing tanks.

Very good achievement. But why does Matt Selman say that he steals tanks in Liberty City. SINCE WHEN???? I would love to but there are no tanks in Liberty City at all. anyway very very good achievement for the brothers. ONLY IF THEY COULD TELL THE PROGRAMMERS TO MAKE THE GAME RUN AT SOLID 30fps

Well, Chinatown Wars is set in Liberty City. That one has tanks.

So does Grand Theft Auto III and Liberty City Stories.

EPIC PHAIL in trying to discredit Matt Selman.

EPIC FAIL for not realizing that the PH was probably intentional.

@lillb: It was intentional :D

I'm a perfectionist when it comes to English, as far as possible, so I would have noticed that and edited it out if it was a mistake. It's like how people say "LOLz" or "n00b" on purpose, in a condescending manner.
