Here is a summary we compiled of the information:
  • It will take a minimum of ten hours to complete and will cost 1600MS.
  • Some missions can be restarted at halfway points.
  • There are NO additions to the Liberty City map.
  • There will be more buildings with interiors, mostly linked to new missions.
  • Johnny Klebitz is the vice president of The Lost, and the DLC's story begins when Billy returns from rehab to lead the gang once again. In Billy's absence, Johnny lead The Lost and called a truce with their rivals, The Angels of Death. When Billy returns, he is not fond of the idea of a truce.
  • The Lost safehouse is located on the corner of Berners Road and Vitullo Avenue in Alderney. Mini-games like a hi-low card game, an arm wrestling game, and getting weapons delivered from friends like Lil Jacob will all be available in the safehouse.
  • Johnny's bike is available outside the safehouse, and if you trash it someone can bring over another one.
  • One mission named "Buyer's Market" shows how Johnny crosses paths with Niko Bellic and Playboy X via Elizabeta.
  • New weapons include a 9MM automatic pistol, a sawn-off shotgun, an assault shotgun, a grenade launcher, and pipe bombs.
  • New music for the "hardcore and metal" radio stations will be introduced.
  • Riding with the gang makes The Lost gang logo appear and the ground, and allows Johnny to receive health boosts.

Pipe Bombs, A Mission involving a Bar raid, very Terminator 2 style and confirmation of replaying the missions that Johnny appears in GTA IV. Sounding great up to now. Also confirmed at 1600MS Points. Takes place along side GTA IV story, war is declared by mistake because they think the Angels done something that Niko did. 5 New Weapons in Total, A new Metal station and tracks added to other stations.

So... can we use the 9mm pistol, assault, and the other rumored vehicles in the main game?

Sounds like they'll be available in Multiplayer so maybe if R* add spawn points into the main game, then yeah, they should be available to use, if not, then it'll be locked to TLAD and Multiplayer.

I just read the IGN preview which stated that to access The Lost and Damned you go to the "Start New Game" menu from GTA IV and choose "Lost and Damned". Since it's a separate story and separate world you can't acess the new buildings with Niko and go to the hang-outs.. so I'm assuming that the new weapons, cars, music, etc. is specific only to Lost and Damned and the multiplayer which might be accessed only through Lost and Damned.

Is there any way that you can e-mail R* and ask them?

You won't really get a straight answer from them, just wait until it's out and ask people. From the looks of things, I don't think you should buy this, you said you don't like any of this biker shit, and paying 1,600 MS Points for a few extras guns, bikes/cars and Music in Multiplayer and maybe a slim chance of the normal game still seems like a bit of a rip off.

I don't know if 1600 is reasonable for this. It will be nice to have some new cars, but they're going to have to be pretty special to make me want to go out and hunt them down.

I'm also really not liking the storyline. It's a bit too gritty and quite frankly the characters don't look like they have as much depth as those on the main route.

Yeah I'm skeptical about how good the new story is really going to be.. I'd much rather be interested in playing someone who works for the Italian Mob or Dominican gangsters than a... biker. I'd like to wait and read some reviews but I don't think they'll be honest about anything.

Chances are, just out of interest, I'll end up buying it anyways but I just wish that I could play it somehow first.

Compared to most DLC which is like 800-1200 for a few Maps, I'd say this sounds great. From the previews alone I've already guessed that TLAD starts soon after Niko killing Vlad, and from the previews, already found tie ins for a few mission and they've already answered one question, Where did Johnny Get The Heroin? If we get that from a preview then who knows how much the full DLC will reveal what was behind the scenes in IV. That alone is worth the price, along with the new music, bikes, weapons should hopefully inject a little more action into the game, something IV lacked during all the tutorial missions.

Story wise I like what I see. Content wise, it's pretty meh. But I learned from GTA2 and onward, that no matter what the main focus is (in this case bikers) R* does everything well done and to the letter. It's rare for me to sit back and let a story take me where it wants to, but R* has never steered me wrong.

@BigKal, you know Sam Houser actually donated to Obama's campaign, but either way I don't think Rockstar would throw any racism into one of their games.

WHAT! hahha, every single GTA game has been plagued with racism, that's the entire point of the series :P But I don't think that necessarily reflects the beliefs of Rockstar employees. It's just the style of GTA - extreme stereotypes and all! If you can't handle some racism, you shouldn't even be playing Grand Theft Auto.

I mean I think the only time you're going to hear "N" word in GTA is every other footstep in San Andreas in the non-derogatory form. I don't think we would see a character "like" Niko tossing out racial insults at a character "like" Playboy-X.

;)

Edit: The worst I can really remember in GTA is "Don't just stand there you prick! Chase the Haitian dickhead down!" and that was changed in later releases to remove "Haitian".

lol... white supremacists!? Oh snap, there's a black biker among white supremacists... run for cover.

Playboy said something similar to Niko when they met Johnny, "all bikers are racists" or something like that.

Actually Slim, GTA IV was the first game where the "N" word was used in a negative sense, it's said during a convo between Gerry and Niko, the word coming from Gerry of course. Not saying that R* are Racist, each GTA game they try and find a worse word to mention at least once in script.

tbh i think it helps define some characters by making them racist
if rockstar was too worried about hurting everyone's feelings most of the characters would seem weak

Sounds good but i am doubting it is worth the money. My friend has an xbox and i'll see if it is good, but what do i care really when i have a PS3. I hope R* will realease additional content for the PS3 too. I a bored of the radio. same stuff repeating. Even Lazlow's stupid integrity got me bored. I used to love the radio stations in SA. Also i loved the Map. Liberty city is too fake NY. The Empire state is like In Downtown new york and it should be after central park. I am asking myself why GTA has to be so fake. Why not put Licensed cars and real cities instead of made up ones. After all 500 000 $ profit should be more than enough....

it looks like rockstar have copied a lot of the weapons from saints row 2(grenade launcher, pipe bombs, assault shotgun etc) for GTA IV's downloadable content LULZZ.

No surprise since saints row 2 is a lot more fun than gta iv, even rockstar have realized that now.

I just hope this is not the last time that GTA IV is making this kind of add ons for GTA IV. It would be HOT to see more of them. Imagine, a lot of stories and add ons based on this beautiful Liberty City. And everytime something new, few new cars, few new bikes, few new caracters, missions, pedestrians, maybe even maps...
