Rockstar announces Social Club TV and updates official site

Grand Theft Auto IV - General News | @ 06:49 PM MDT | By Neil + rappo
Rockstar Games just updated the Official GTA IV website with information about the PC version. Included in the update was the revelation of Social Club TV - the destination where your movie clips edited with the PC version will end up.

A couple of new screenshots (featured below), images of the in-game video editor in action, and four samples of the kind of video you can create using the video editor are included. It's looking very impressive and it certainly should make all of those stunt videos much easier to produce.

The game launches for PC at the beginning of December and it includes full Games for Windows Live functionality. You will need quite a beefy PC to run it though - a dual core processor is the minimum, along with at least a GeForce 7900 or Radeon X1900.

Look like i'll need that Phenom X4 9950 after all. Theres no way my X2 6000 will run this smoothly at max, especially with 100% traffic.

Wow, those clips turn out better than I thought they would, lets hope all you video makers out there who usually do great work can now do some damn amazing stuff with this!

Edit: Clip 3 would work as an awesome trailer, infact, it's way better than the released PC Trailer!

Ash_735 I feel the same way. In fact all of them should have been trailers. I'm REALLY excited now. I can't wait to see talented people strut their stuff.

It might be me but I don't think Gta 4 will sell to well for PC with the specs that are needed. Not many "out of the box computers" reach them standards today. Maybe someone will come out with some sort of patch to lower the requirements needed. Well I hope someone does so I can play it.
