Unfortunately you know people will be selling this game before the release date or stealing copies for friends or something. I know for a fact that if you work at GAMECRAZY or HOLLYWOOD VIDEO, OR MOVIE GALLERY that you can get a copy of any movie or any game a week before it comes out. This game is too big for antsy people to wait until it the 29th. And yes this game IS BIGGER than HALO 3. Yeah Halo 3 advertised a lot with the posters and tshirts and what not. but come on this game is all over the world with billboards on buildings for crying out loud. (ONLY ROCKSTAR) would do such a thing. Xbox and Rockstar all the way!!! Sorry SONY but you suck and your products also suck.

I'm going to hit up some small stores to see if I can coax an early copy out of them. I didn't preorder, so I'll have to test my luck. I doubt getting this game will be a problem, stores like Target or Circuit City never sell out, and there are a ton of small stores around me. If I can't get a copy early, I'll have to try the bigger stores on Tuesday or some day during that week. I doubt I'll have a problem.

Sorry (BronxKnight28), you must be Playstation fan lol. Xbox is by far the better system. First of all, the 360 is way more popular than the PS3. It's sales blow the PS3 away. And I can personally vouch for the sales. I worked at Wal-Mart the year the PS3 came out. Our Wal-Mart didn't even get but 1 or 2 PS3's when it was released. That was Sony's fault, and no it wasnt just our store. It happened everywhere. Sony obviously sucks when it comes to production. Next the graphics are far better for the 360. Heres why, the GPU is more powerful. It has more powerful fillrate, and far more pixel and vertex processing horsepower. Part of the reason is their choice of memory, and architecture of pixel and vertex processing. The 360 also has a clever new way rendering high definition anti aliased back buffers. To accomplish the same effect on PS3 is prohibitively expensive. For this reason many games will have no choice but to run in non-HD resolutions on the PS3 version and use a lower quality anti aliasing technique, or do back buffer upscaling. The end result in all cases is going to be noticeably worse image quality.

And to everyone thinking Grand Theft Auto 4 is coming out early, the answer is no. But if you know someone who works for a retail store or a rental store you may be able to grab a copy sometime next week. I also use to work for Hollywood Video and had a friend who worked at Movie Gallery. That is one of the extra perks there. And no its not illegal or anything to sell the game before it comes out. The game company just shys upon it. Honestly is it the right thing to do?, I dont think it is but thats debatable. I mean come on, I know if any one of you knew you could get it early I know you would. So would I. But I will wait until my Gamestop here opens at midnight April the 29th to get my Pre-Ordered Special Edition for the XBOX 360.

ive had both systems 360 being my first system out of the 2.....it wuzz a great system because it had alot of great games 2 play but then it broke on me not onCe but twice then i bought the ps3 4 my birth day and it wuzz a good system but it got boring after a while because it wasnt coming out with any games i mean it was horrible but i would say that if you want a system for games and great online then get the xbox 360 but if you want 2 watCH movies and you dont really care 4 games then the ps3 is good,but as of now and maybe in the future Xbox 360 is the best system out there and gta 4 should make it even better now that it has online.

let's see you got Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, yawn. Haze, (knock off of Gears, and Halo). Singstar (Wow!lol), Gran Turismo 5 (gonna be alright but whats new?), Infamous (looks horrible), Final Fantasy XIII (boring), Tekken 6 (good in its day), Killzone 2 (probably the best), Those are the main exclusives for PS3. Nothing too special.
Lets see here 360 has Gears of War 2, Halo Wars, Splinter Cell Conviction, Ninja Gaiden 2, Too Human, Alan Wake, Fable 2, Left 4 Dead, These are the main exclusives for the 360.
These are gonna be way more entertaining than the ps3's games.

i aint a fan boy of da 360 yet any way but josh 1988 is right the ps3 aint really got nuthin coming out beside metal gear solid 4 thats about it and the online aint all that great either but right now the xbox 360 has it all so this should end all arguements yes the 360 has the 3 rings of death but when its working its the greatest system out of all three systems it has the games and the online

The ps3 is selling more than the 360 right now because more households already have a 360. But don't be too confident. Come the holiday season, the xbox 360 sales will boost again due to the release of Gears of War 2, GTA IV Downloadable episodic content and other exclusive titles.

Internet Browser
recharable controllers
Great style
No ring of fire
in built Network adapter
And better graphics!!!
Also, the reason that Wal mart didnt get alot of PS3's is because Wal Mart is not a games only retailer store!!!!!!
PS3 is alot more famous than Xbox! And if the xbox is more famous it is because people like u r cheap skates. u wont buy the ps3 because its too expensive for u! Most people say the PS3 sucks because of its price. But if it was the same price as the xbox people would be buying PS3s more! GTA IV belongs with PS3 not Xbox!
