The making of Grand Theft Auto IV

Grand Theft Auto IV - General News | @ 08:35 AM MDT | By Neil
Over the weekend gaming site Next Generation posted the first part of an article which appears in this month's Edge magazine about all things Grand Theft Auto. The second part is now available online and spans seven pages.
"It’s very New York and it feels great. But I could go on – there’s a lot of music in the game, an awful lot, and a lot of exclusive stuff, a lot of new stuff. It has been very, very important for it to feel as ‘now’ as we could possibly make it while still having great music. And the beauty of radio, particularly in the US, is that they play a lot of classics alongside new tracks, so when you play the game it feels like the radio feels here – you hear a brand-new record you’ve never heard before or you hear one of your favorites."
If you've not had the chance to check out the magazine (it's on sale now in the UK) then this is a definite must read. Edge's writers are some of the best around and the detail provided by Sam Houser is something found in very few other publications.
