2012 Max Payne 3 release delayed; GTA V too?
Grand Theft Auto V - General News | @ 10:21 AM CST | By victim
Given Rockstar's recent love-affair of delivering A-class titles in the April-May period, many fanboys were predicting GTA V to be hitting the shelves in one of those months. This speculation came mostly out of the fact that Rockstar had no games announced for a release in that window. This, however, is no longer true.
Rockstar bumped back the release of Max Payne 3, another extremely popular franchise, from it's original March release to a new May one. Max Payne 3 is now scheduled to release on Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 15th, with a PC version also coming later that month.
Strauss Zelnick, Take 2 CEO
"With Max Payne 3 now slated for May, our robust lineup of upcoming releases for fiscal 2013 is even stronger, including BioShock Infinite, Borderlands 2, Spec Ops: The Line, XCOM, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and other titles yet to be announced for release that year."
Whether this has affected GTA V at all is quite doubtful, though it certainly silences all of the hopeful speculation that the game may be in our hands early. When GTA V's release date is official, you'll hear it from us first.
2012 GTA IV Mod: LCPD First Response v0.95 RC2
Grand Theft Auto IV - Modifications | @ 03:32 PM CST | By rappo
After you've completed every available mission in Grand Theft Auto IV (two or three times), what's left besides wreaking havoc throughout the city? Honestly, not a whole lot, but that's why the GTA community never stops modding. If you're running GTA IV on the latest patch (v22.214.171.124), there's a script mod available that can add a whole new dimension to the game: LCPD First Response.
LCPDFR is a police simulation mod for GTA IV and EFLC. It transforms the game into a law enforcement sim where you arrest the crooks, rather than working for them. LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 adds the ability to use a slick new Taser which acts like a native weapon, stop and search multiple suspects, search the trunks of vehicles, issue parking citations, and engage in high speed pursuits.
This mod, featured in the February 2012 issue of PCGamer, is available for download now at GTA4-Mods.com.
For more information about the project, check out LCPDFR.com.

SOPA and PIPA are two bills that are currently going through United States congress. If they pass, the internet as we know it would change forever, and the freedom, and possibly existence of fansites, such as GTAGaming and their forum communities, would be threatened.
Learn more about these bills, and what you can do to help prevent them from being passed.
