NOVGrand Theft Auto IV picks up another award

Earlier tonight Grand Theft Auto IV picked up the latest in a long line of awards at a ceremony in Glasgow. The game won the "multimedia prize" at the Scottish BAFTA awards ceremony, a spin off of the larger event of the same name. Series developer Rockstar North has its offices in nearby Edinburgh.
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts is an industry body most famous for its award ceremonies and the mask-like trophy which all winners receive. It stands as the most prestigious award of its kind in the UK and is often likened to an Oscar.

NOVGTA IV's downloadable content delayed as well?

In a recent interview with Variety, Dan Houser, vice president and co-founder of Rockstar, has hinted at a possible delay of the downloadable content for the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV. The DLC has been long slated for a release later this year, but it could now be early 2009 before it's ready. This follows a well recognized trend in GTA's long history of game delays.

NOVChinatown Wars delayed, slated for Spring 2009 release

Before even receiving a set release date, GTA: Chinatown Wars, the upcoming GTA installment for the Nintendo DS, has joined the ranks of GTA IV PC and Xbox 360 downloadable content as delayed.
At a press conference today, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed GTA IV DLC's delay rumors stating that it may arrive as late as Spring 2009. Zelnick also stated that Chinatown Wars isn't scheduled to be released in the first quarter of the 2009 fiscal year (January 2009) as initially expected, but will arrive within Q2 2009, which ends in April.
