MARTwo new Porsche mods
GTA: San Andreas - Modifications | @ 06:06 PM CST | By rappo
Here are a couple new mods as promised last week. They're both Porsche car modifications for San Andreas, and they're both great! Sometimes conversions from other games come out a little dodgy, but I really enjoyed these mods and you will too if you're a Porsche fan!

MARIs this the first in-game image of GTA IV?
Grand Theft Auto IV - General News | @ 01:11 PM CST | By Neil
Earlier today a user of popular photo sharing website Flickr uploaded a set of photos from a private event held recently. The event was arranged by Microsoft, The ID Agency and SA Studios. The latter company has had dealings with Rockstar Games in the past and is responsible for some of the artwork used in the promotion of earlier GTA titles.
One of the photos shows a player with their hands on an Xbox 360 controller with a large TV in the background. On that TV there appears to be some sort of game running and given the context of the event, it would be wise to assume that it may be Grand Theft Auto IV.
The event's authenticity is backed up by other images in the set which show another limited edition Xbox 360 console along with its accessories, sitting atop a very interesting table.
MARGTA IV will be the same price on both platforms
Grand Theft Auto IV - General News | @ 01:32 PM CST | By Neil
Earlier this week a number of websites began writing stories claiming that the PlayStation 3 version of Grand Theft Auto IV would cost more than the Xbox 360 version in the UK. The rumor began at Videogaming247 and was based on a poster hung in the window of a branch of WH Smith.
The recommended retail price of games is set by their distributor and like all other Rockstar Games titles released in the UK, GTA IV will be handled by Gem. On its website today, Gem lists the Recommended Retail Price of GTA IV on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as being £49.99.
The RRP of a title is a guide for retailers to follow when pricing titles. It's not the price which the retailer pays for each unit (this is considerably less) and it is the retailer's decision how much to discount each title, if at all. There are hundreds of retailers in the UK which sell video games, so if it's not being sold at a fair price in your local store, try further afield.
At the time of going to press, the cheapest available price in the UK was £34.99, advertised by Amazon.co.uk for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

MARGTA IV Special Edition almost sold out in New Zealand
Grand Theft Auto IV - General News | @ 05:03 PM CST | By Neil
The first indication of GTA IV's presales performance was revealed today when Take Two Interactive confirmed that the special edition of the game has almost sold out in New Zealand.
While the tiny island nation of just over four million inhabitants doesn't put much of a mark on worldwide sales figures, the excitement which must be brewing among Kiwis is probably something echoed all around the world.
If you really are interested in getting your hands on the more expensive version of the game, it's probably advisable to pre order it as soon as possible. Those lockboxes are being snapped up so fast!
