2005 MTA: SA Media Update
GTA: San Andreas - Community News | @ 06:41 PM MDT | By rappo
The Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas team have updated their website with some screenshots from the latest build (b10) of the beta MTA: SA. It's cool watching their progress, and the release seems to be fairly close. Another post at the blog today says that they are hoping the QA team will update the blog sometime soon going over testing procedures and revealing some more screenshots. Stay tuned for that update.
Until then, check out the rest of the screenshots and the new article at the official MTA Developer's Blog. Big thanks to Nite for the news.
2005 Five New Mods
GTA: San Andreas - Modifications | @ 05:37 PM MDT | By rappo
The following four car mods were all created by JVT and Tomekk:
The fifth mod recently uploaded is the Detailed Map and Radar Mod by BaygoN and Ian Albert which will replace the map and radar in San Andreas with an extremely detailed overhead view of the city created by Ian Albert. This is an awesome radar mod and a must have! Download it by clicking here or the image above.
2005 Liberty City Stories Maps
GTA: LCS - Website Updates | @ 11:47 PM MDT | By rappo
The very first maps for Liberty City Stories have finally been released! For those of you having trouble with getting to that 100% status that you seek so furiously, chunkubis is here to help. The maps that are currently available are of hidden packages, items, and stunts/rampages/odd jobs. I've made a little page on our site where you can view all of the maps (or download the full pack here). I'll hopefully make the page a bit more spiffy when I have more time, but, until then, this will suffice. Enjoy the new maps, and happy searching!
All credit for the maps goes to chunkubis, and thanks for sending us the large versions!

2005 IGN: SA Special Edition DVD Review
GTA: San Andreas - General News | @ 08:26 PM MDT | By rappo
As most of you probably know, the latest Special Edition of San Andreas was packed with it's own DVD containing the GTA mini-movie "The Introduction" and the Rockstar documentary "Sunday Driver". This IGN article goes over the highs and lows of the DVD and also gives a small description about "Sunday Driver", the documentary that follows members of Compton's "Majestics" low-riding club. Here's how the scoring of the DVD went:
The Movie - 6/10
Sunday Driver is an intriguing look at low-riding, but The Introduction is for fans only.
The Video - 3/10
Low-quality video on both segments.
The Audio - 7/10
Decent VO for The Introduction and a good mix for Sunday Driver
The Extras - 5/10
Outtakes and extra clips from Sunday Driver and a trailer for Liberty City Stories.
OVERALL - 5/10
As you can tell, IGN did not seem to think much of it! Check out the whole review here. Thanks for the news, Neil.
