The October issue of PSM has got their hands on a final version of LCS. After weeks of minor details and hardly any word from the PR department, PSM finally gives out some new information.

• The game begins much the same as in GTA III, with you being taken (by Vinnie) to the exact same safehouse on Portland that 8-Ball took you to.
• The story takes the same Portland -> Staunton -> Shoreside route (why?)
• A lot of new vehicles and new interiors are promised.
• A new snow weather effect that hinders traction while driving.
• You will travel between islands via ferry, perhaps the same mechanism as Juank Air in San Andreas.
• As for mechanics, Rockstar is giving the shoulder buttons added functionality, so you hold them while pressing another button for a different action.

And speaking of the PR department... in the latest Rockstar Broadcast in which they covered The Warriors, at the bottom it was said to expect an update of the official Liberty City Stories website.

Earlier yesterday, the official box art of Rockstar's upcoming game for the PSP, Liberty City Stories, that you see on the right was accidentally placed in Wal-Mart's online store. It is quite obvious that this was a big mistake because Wal-Mart have already taken it down from their online store. Luckily, some GTA fans caught it before Wal-Mart!

EDIT: The box art has been confirmed as real, seeing as Take 2 Games have posted it on their official LCS website, and Rockstar have now replaced the generic box art with the new one at the Rockstar Warehouse.

Horseshoe Help - creates pointers on top of horseshoe locations if you're having trouble.

Script Mods:
The Green Sabre - once you get 100%, the Green Sabre will spawn at CJ's house.
SnakeNOS - allows you to add NOS component to cars, planes, and the Vortex. You can't add it to bikes/boats/trains though. You can, however use the other adjustable NOS.
Mission Choose - lets you select any missions in the game.
God Mode - enables you to be like GOD!
Unflip Car Mod - unflips your vehicle (ANY vehicles) if your vehicle is completely upside down and stopped.
First Person Camera - creates first person view while in car. First person as in being able to see the dashboard.
Fast Heli Take Off - lets you instantly take off in a helicopter instead of waiting the rotor blade to spin.
Speedometer - displays the speed of any vehicles in about miles per hour.
Patriot Explosion Launcher - will let you launch an explosion if you press the attack button while in a Patriot.
Coordinate Mod - will let you see the coordinates in San Andreas.
Wall Climbing Mod - will let you "climb" to roofs of buildings.
Vigilante Anywhere + Infinite Time - allows you to do the vigilante missions anywhere with as much as you want to complete them.
Chop Shop - adds a chop shop to San Andreas that lets you get money for your stolen rides.
GTA2 Camera - lets you play the game using a simulated version of GTA3's top-down view camera.
Steed Mod - lets you stay on a motorcycle/bike no matter what happens unless you exit it.
Bullet Time Mod - lets you be in bullet time (adrenaline mode).
Real Time Clock - controls the in-game clock to imitate real life ones.
Save Anywhere Mod - lets you save anywhere, anytime (except during missions).
Car Wash - enables you to use the car washes in San Andreas.

New Verdant Meadows Airstrip - makes the abandoned airstrip at Verdant Meadows look like new.
New Grove Street - changes most of Grove Street with new, nice looking textures. The hood never looked so great!
