JULA Modder's Passing GTAGaming.com - Community News | @ 12:59 PM CST | By rappo
On June 7, 2005, the same day as San Andreas's release for the PC in America, a well-respected member of the GTA community, an excellent modder, passed away. Although the details of his death were not released for obvious reasons, Odie's passing is a devestating loss for the GTA community. For those of you that didn't know Odie, he was a great map modder, if not the best, and I am sad to see him go at such an early age.
For more information about Odie's work and a chance to say a nice word about him yourself, please visit this GTAForums thread. Thanks to TGR for bringing this sad news to our attention.

JULSan Andreas Tracker GTA: San Andreas - Community News | @ 05:07 PM CST | By rappo
This is an awesome website/application that any statistic freak or showoff will definitely enjoy. It's by far one of the coolest things I've seen developed for the GTA community regarding statistics. Here is some more information from the author, SeBsZ:
SATracker is a website that keeps track of your San Andreas progress in real time. All you have to do is create an account on the website, download the small program, and run it whenever your playing San Andreas. Every 5 seconds, the program sends statistics such as your health, your location, as well as how many people you have killed, to the SATracker website. You can then tell everyone to look at your stats page. It even has a map of the player's current position. Link: SA Tracker Official Website Thanks to SeBsZ for his submission about this awesome creation!
