MAYE3: PlayStation 3 Unveiled!

PlayStation3 has *just* been unveiled by Sony at their pre-E3 press conference. The machine, which features a convex design not dissimilar to a refridgerator door, has been billed as "twice as powerful as Xbox 360" by Sony.

In terms of software, Rockstar have confirmed that they will be supporting Sony with the console. A demo of a new Red Dead Revolver game was shown.

MAYE3: Nintendo Announces Game Boy Micro

Nintendo have today announced the introduction of a new system in the Game Boy franchise. Game Boy Micro is the latest handheld from the company, and will play all Game Boy Advance games released to date. The most attractive aspect of Game Boy Micro is its tiny profile, measuring just 4 inches wide, 2 inches tall and 0.7 inches deep. The console weighs just 2.8 ounces and features a 2 inch backlit screen and built in rechargeable lithium ion battery.

Now you've got no excuse not to carry a copy of GTA everywhere you go! Game Boy Micro will be released this Fall. Pricing will be announced at a later date.

MAYE3: GTA: Liberty City Stories on PSP September 1!

GTA: Liberty City Stories is the official name for Rockstar Games' PSP Grand Theft Auto title, which will be available on September 1st. The game was unveiled at a Sony Computer Entertainment Europe press briefing earlier this evening, where delegates saw video footage of the game. The game will be present on the E3 show floor, but by invitation only.
The release date of the game; September 1, coincides with the European launch of the PSP handheld, which will be priced £179. The game's official website has been launched at LibertyCityStories.com but as of this moment, includes no imagery or information.

MAYGTA: SA Xbox Trailer Has Arrived!

The long-awaited trailer for the Xbox version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is finally up for download on the official SA Xbox website. Go to the media section of the website to view the trailer, which is in both Windows Media Player and Quicktime format (small and large versions are available as well). It's a good way to show off the enhanced graphics, but there are obviously no new gameplay feature additions noticeable.
