This is the first savefile editor for GTA-vicecity. The current version allows you to edit the car_generators. This could, until now, only be done through main.scm editing, and that would render your old savefile unuseable. With this tool you can Add/change car_generators and keep using your precious savefiles.

Although the name could have been a bit more creative, this is a pretty cool shotgun mod. The textures are very cool and the front part of it (including the pump) have a high polygon count, which gives it a nice touch.

Gamespy have finally posted the preview they promised last week, but disappointingly, no new information or screenshots are included, with it being just another San Fierro roundup.

If you recieve MSN, Amazon, or Toys 'R' Us video game newsletter, you'll see that GTA: San Andreas is first on the top 20 list! It's beating games that have already been released and reviewed. What's that saying to ya? They all sell for about 50 bucks, but Toys 'R' Us is having a bonus pre-order offer. It's just something to check out if you haven't pre-ordered it yet.

I give you... a screensaver. It took me a little while to make this since I had to remix a music track, and convert all of the asset screenshots. 107 screenshots, and one extra image. If you'd like to add this SA screensaver to your collection, just click here to do so.

We've reported on the exploits of Florida lawyer Jack Thompson in the past, his reaction to the Manhunt allegations of the summer and appearance on BBC Frontline Scotland provided some interesting debate through our comments system and forums. This time, Thompson has linked the Grand Theft Auto series to a vicious plot cooked up by a sixteen-year-old boy in Massachussetts, in which he planned to kill innocent people and "mow down" those who tried to assist.

The teenager in question, Tobin Kerns, allegedly owns copies of Grand Theft Auto titles and plays them regularly. He has been charged with attempting to commit murder and promotion of anarchy.

As we know, San Andreas is rated 'M' for Mature. But to clear something up, the PC version will be available in the summer of 2005.

* Edit: For the viewers confused about this announcement, the term "Gone Gold" means development is completed and the game is sent to the publishers (Take2) for production (the many hundreds of thousands DVDs/Manuals and packaging). The announced release date still stands, and Gone Gold in a way is the final confirmation of that date. Not much longer to wait! :)
