Eurogamer.net recently attended one of Rockstar's secret press meetings, where they received a 40-minute-long preview of the game in action. More interestingly though, is their confirmation of a date for the long-awaited trailer.

That's official, you'll be seeing GTA: San Andreas in action in just a few short days' time. Have fun waiting!

play Playstation, a German PS2 magazine, has confirmed many details about San Fierro, San Andreas' version of San Francisco. Readers of the eight-page article get their first glimpse into the layout of the city, with Chinatown taking a prime location in the center. While you're there, you'll find yourself playing a number of the game's alleged 150 missions, working for people like Wu Zi Mu, a blind Triad leader. One such mission involves attending "Hushbury & Garcia Joint Festival", where you'll see a lot of hippies. One screenshot shows this festival, with CJ standing alongside a vehicle which bears a resemblance to a Volkswagen Bus. Another depicts CJ on a boat with two motors at the rear, underneath the huge Gant Bridge (San Fierro's Golden Gate). A different sports car, which looks like a cross between a Ford GT40 and Dodge Viper, with its red body and white racing stripes is

shown, with a caption suggesting CJ will be able to steal the trams (or 'Trolley Carts'). Suggestions are also made to the rumoured car customisation feature. Apparently, CJ will be able to drop into various garages (like 'Pay and Spray') and change the colour of the car, and purchase upgrades like spoilers and nitro boosts. Pressing a button will activate the speed burst, which starts a blurry effect, similar to that seen in games like Burnout and Need for Speed Underground.
