Anyone who was thinking of or has bought a copy of San Andreas knows that it is going for $49.99 everywhere you can buy it. Well, I have found a great deal that many people may enjoy. The first version of this mod was excellent and now there is the second one... which, I must say, is spectacular. The model is great, followed up with nicely colored textures and great reflections. This version will replace the Sanchez.

If you have THUG (Tony Hawk's Underground) for PlayStation 2, an internet adapter and some memory card space (121KB) you can download a park I made that resembles Ocean Drive. When you go to download it, it's under the name 'gtagaming'.

Today I made a pack of .mp3 files that will replace the music that is played in the Vice City Arena, Ocean View Hotel, The Malibu Club and in North Point Mall. Songs vary from Johnny Cash, to Zapp. You can download the music mod .zip for 14MB here. When you get to the download page, right click one of the DOWNLOAD buttons that are NOT full, and best suit your internet connection, then click 'Save Target As'.

Take Two Interactive Software today reported its Q2 2004 financial results. Net sales for the period were $153.4Million, compared with $193Million over the same period in 2003. Perhaps more importantly, the company reported losses of $14.6Million, compared to $14.6Million income last year. This can be partly contributed to the fact that Q2 2003 was only shortly after the release of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Midnight Club 2 had just appeared on shelves.

Take Two also announced that sales of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which has already been a success in other territorise, have been high after its introduction in Japan under an agreement with Capcom. The game, launched in the country earlier this year, had sold approximately 300,000 copies as of May 30th, 2004, making it one of the most successful western games ever to be launched in Japan.

Take Two has also revised its guidance for the third quarter of this year, and for the fiscal year, which ends October 31st 2004. The company is now anticipating lower than expected sales of its products which are released during the time, and has changed a number of items in its release schedule. Importantly however, the company's hyped title "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" was confirmed to be on track for its 19th October USA release and 22nd October European release.

It is clear from this comment that more previews will be appearing in magazines, such as Official UK Playstation2 Magazine, which is on sale later this month.

Hey we're really sorry about all the downtime again. Nothing bad has happened to the site except that it was offline so don't worry.

To make up for it we have some brand new San Andreas information! It came straight from Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK's July Issue, which is on sale June 17th. I'm actually working on that at this moment. I will update again when it's finished. As a teaser for now:
