^So it's really good? I've kinda ignored it so far as I figured it wouldn't be that good like most official games.

Just finished Dead Island. Not bad....better than I expected. Got a little samey but always being on the hunt for better weapons and trying to do all the quests kept you busy enough.

Max Payne 3

I'm up to chapter 7 or 8 I think and so far its somewhat decent, many areas seem to have forced cut scenes is the only thing I don't like cause I'm so use to free roaming type games not linear ones.

Powered through AC3.

It does get better. But still, the tutorial was WAY too goddamn long considering its slow pace. It's still not yet as good as the previous games, but I do like the sailing minigame.

I have gotten way deep into Magic: The Gathering. Maybe to an unhealthy level. Anyway that game is fun.

I remember playing that back when PSP first came out. Really fun and addicting.

Saw Dawnguard is $10 (on sale). Still can't bring myself to spend that. But I've been wanting to play it. Probably won't drop to $5 this round. Maybe by Summer.

Been going at Darksiders 2. I'd assume I'm at least half-way through it. Level 12 so far! Got my first possessed weapon and took all the trash items I picked up to upgrade the hell out of it.

Dawnguard is worth $10, even if you speed through the main missions you'll still get about 4 hours play time.

Lumines on PSP was fucking awesome, lovely music.

Currently playing GTA III (bought it today) and Mass Effect mostly. Bought ME2 as well today, for when I'm done with the first.

I guess I'm not surprised, cause the game is fucking 30GB (PC Version), seriously rockstar needs to learn to optimize the size of thier games

I just got a 256GB Crucial M4 SSD so I won't be able to keep games like that installed for very long

If its a normal sized 5 - 12GB game then I can fit between 25 - 30 games installed at a time.

MP3 takes the size of like 3 or 4 other games....

why didnt you and ritchie tell me it existed earlier ;_;

also, played the first world and a bit of Rayman Origins on vita. The world's pretty, the art's super polished.. buuuuut, there's absolutely no incentive for me to keep playing. Gameplay is pretty standard for a platformer. I will keep playing, to see if it introduces anything else interesting and see if future worlds are better, but surely someone in QA should have noticed how dull it starts off.

I don't guess this one.

Max Payne 3 is THE only game Rockstar have put effort into for the PC version.

What do you mean Optimize?

Do you know WHY it's that big? All assets are made for 1080p+ All videos and transitions ARE High Bitrate 1080p.

I guess Rockstar could have offered Console 720p compressed cutscenes and then offered the 1080p stuff as an extra download (a HD Pack of sorts) but they wanted to make sure everyone who played the PC version saw the best.

TWD game was awesome if you love story driven adventure games. Don't expect it to be a crazy action game but they did a good job with the characters and it was one of my favorite games of the year.

Now looking at the first footage of the activision TWD game and that looks like shit. And is probably more like what you expect out of "official" games.

Oh the game runs smooth at max detail for me thats not the issue, what I meant by optimize is the size of it, if the size is due to the 1080P cut scenes then that makes sense, its just I'm ussually not use to having a game this big installed.

Thanks ash

edit: finished it, had a great ending too.

Definately worth a second playthrough, gonna try to get all the golden guns and some more of the steam achievements this time as well.
