try disabling Vertical Sync xan, thats always been known to cause mouse lag when enabled.

I leave it off globally in the Nvidia Control Panel for everything.

Disabling vsync also creates screen tearing though unfortunately. Sometimes it's so atrocious (Assassin's Creed is one example) that I just have to leave it on. Thankfully that game is much better played with a controller than keyboard/mouse. Vsync lag is only noticeable with a mouse.

I disabled VSync at the start, but it seems to just vary for me. I'm gonna try playing around with the Maximum pre-rendered frames option in the NVIDIA CP and see if it does anything

Edit: Nada el nada. To show you how bad my aiming is now I've spent 10 seconds trying to aim down a headshot when it's supposed to be easy.

The mouse just randomly speeds up and speeds down, sometimes it just gets stuck over a invisible barrier and speeds up and sometimes it just locks slightly. I've made sure to turn down all the settings and nothing, FPS doesn't seem to effect it.

I've made sure it isn't the mouse since all the other games play like I play em, twitch and shoot.

Edit: I've reset my keybindings and it's okay now. I guess something must have went wrong when I tried rebinding some keys or it's because of these NVIDIA 280.26 drivers.

DXHR

I've finally worked out the mouse issue, and I decided to restart so I can do the first mission properly. A very enjoyable game. Got up to the part where the Review version stopped and took my time going through all the side quests and etc.

edit:

Lol: Kill a guy patrolling outside, no noise. Open door, throw in det pack, kill 5 idiots.

I wish I could have filmed that, perfect execution that I couldn't manage even if I wanted to

I just started DXHR as well. Awesome game so far. I have it hooked up to my TV and playing with tripple buffering so it runs at 60 fps most of the time. I just wish the shadowing was better (like in the cutscenes.) Sometimes it will go from a dark gritty shadowy cutscene and then cuts to gameplay and it's all bright and lit up everywhere with hardly any shadows. :/

DXHR

Meh. Overrated. Crashed after a mission where I had to turn off some antenna, fuck it I was bored anyway.

EDIT: Well it's not AWFUL, it's better than a lot of shit that gets put out there. The storyline is cool, but when shit crashes it kills the immersion...

EDIT: Hacking is fucking shit... you spend ages trying to hack into a computer only to realize its for fucking emails.

EDIT: China looks badass tho.

I don't really know why, but FPSs bore the ever living shit out of me these days. I use to sit down back then and play FPS after FPS, eventually... it gets pretty fucking redundant. Now it is just flat out... boooring. Though, that won't keep me from playing them, to an extent... I guess.

I made a list a while back, and there are only 7 games over the next 2 and a half years I'd even consider getting. Be it, they are pretty well known titles. Like there is really THAT much to choose from anyway these days.

----

Other than that, some Xenosaga Episode III last night. Yep, not much else to say.

Equivalent to about $20, sure.

I'll buy it then. Also, the only FPS I can tolerate lately is Bad Company 2. I tried playing a bit Halo Reach cos my friend wanted to. Holy shit I had to turn it off, such a bad game. I think the series went really downhill after Halo 2. 3 was average, ODST was meh, and Reach was just plain bad in my eyes.

I like RPG / FPS combo games mostly (Mass Effect 1/2, Fallout 3/New Vegas, Stalker SHOC/CS/COP, Borderlands, Just Cause 1/2, Far Cry 2, the GTA Games, Mafia 1/2, etc)

but just the straight linear style FPS games with no free roam or RPG elements do get boring at times.

PLaying Fallout New Vegas, was a level 4 when I was casually decapitating mole rats. Crouched down I saw the danger message pop up, turned round to destory this sneaky mole rat.

FUCKING DEATHCLAW.

I find the LMG works nice against deathclaws also that full auto grenade launcher will probably do some major damage. I killed the Legendary Deathclaw in Dead Wind Cavern with the LMG, mines, grenades, and tons of ammo and stimpacks and everything was repaired by Raul who is the best repair NPC in the game and even after all that it still was one of the hardest battles in New Vegas. Killing every single legion in the fort was piss easy compared to that deathclaw.
