my mission - idea needed

im planning to make a car delivery mission sometime.

you get assigned a job where you have to rob a swat van from the vice point police station and then deliver it to sunshine autos. you can only damage it a little, and there will be a two-star wanted level on you for the span of the mission.

those are the basics, but i need to know:
where should i make this trigger? who gives you the job? should i make checkpoints (like a path for you to take)? anything else?

any (good) ideas are welcome and appreciated. thanks.

Do it like Ocean's 11. You do jobs for a rich man who wants to rob the bank, and he needs a SWAT van so his guys can rob it under the cover of law officers.

that was a good movie. maybe i should have el banco corrupto being robbed again, and this time, were dressed up as swat. you drive the swat van over to the bank, and instead of arresting them you drive them away (the back of the swat van opens, right?).

then after you get about halfway to the other island (i want to make it challenging), the stars start racking up.

ok, good idea! does that sound ok?

Yeah, I like it. But see if you can get an AI driver instead of Tommy doing everything as usual.

Another storyline I had was a crooked swat agent forms his own small miliita of swat agents, and you and the rest of the swat division load up in vans and go assualt his place All out AI war is cool. And the guys on your team would be badass ninjas killing everything in sight.

do you think theres a suitable place for this type of mission in funworld? im still patiently waiting for that map...

I didn't really think there would be missions for Fun World. If you had little missions to do around the park, that'd be pretty cool. But getting the park done is the first step.

no, i mean once its done, i could get it and then base my mission off of that map

i thought there was a main.scm mod required. i saw the helicopter museum or whatever it was. the tours i think. that seemed cool.

ive been waiting for this map to be done since before summer!
but its still not done

you should have a uzi because it only 2 stars i mean like 2 stars has no tire poppers and not much road blocks

but i still need ideas - thanks for contributing. keep in mind that it can still change. i was thinking about stealing maybe a sports car from a rich guy or something...

or that securicar from the banco corrupto.

Fun World will probably be done next year (Spring?). Definetly not before the end of this year.

And when you have the police chopper on you make it so when your driving off the police call for more backup or whatever they do get 4 stars then you can drive to the boatyard and then load the cargo onto a boat get to the mansion and then all the stars disappear.

ok: heres what ive got so far

• securicar/swat van - maybe i can have them both play parts..
• rich guy assigns the job
• police stars

i need

• where the contractor lives
• dialog, cutscene stuff
• where and how the mission should end

again, please suggest useful and possible things. im not trying to make a whole new game here. just a simple mission.

i think the rich guy should be under cover at the hotel where you live
like he could have some police files on him and hes laying low

and the cut scean is like you walk into the hotel and he come down the stairs and is like tommy! i knew you where here i need to ask you a favor i need you to get (blah blah) and bring it back here and the stuff could be at the air port getting ready to be flown to liberty city

you could jazz it up a bit like police cars zooming around out side

sure. i think ill just change the mission.

the police cars have set up a blockade around the moist palms hotel (or another suitable location). you need to find a way to get into the back (via a stunt jump/helicopter). once youre in, the cutscene will take place. the guy makes a deal with you, but tells you that you need to deliver him to your cabs place first. once youre there, the taxi will take him to the airport (you dont watch. he disappears).

then you need to do the stealing. you must take a swat van (conveniently parked outside of the moist palms) and load it up with his private guards (i hope i can do this). then you go over to the bank. steal the securicar. after that, more crooked cops join your little convoy. they are also working for the guy. the cops will protect you, and maybe in the middle, some real cops will figure out whats going on. immediately youll get 5 stars. then go as fast as you can to the airport. once you get there, youre safe. another cutscene starts, and then you get the cash after changing clothes with one of the cops (so youll end up in a cop outfit).

this might change a little or a lot
