Off topic: I'm thinking about seeing Avatar, but somehow something holds me back. I don't know what it is. I love James Cameron and I hear a lot of good things about Avatar, but... maybe it's because of that long trailer that pretty much already told most of the story... I don't know.

I assumed this movie would be a pretty boring children type movie, I was actually shocked at how good it was. Despite the storyline being very predictable it was still awesome as hell. The CGI is out of this world, its as revolutionary as Jurassic Park was in its time.

Good film despite its cookie cutter plot underneath. CG and action scenes were very well done and looked quite impressive Character development and dialogue were somewhat thin, but ultimately not much of a detriment. Entertaining film overall.
Up in the Air:
Very great film and definitely a contender for Best Picture in my opinion. Good and charming performances all around from nearly every character aside from Clooney's female protégé.
Intriguing, often strange, and yet a fairly good, though incredibly dark and brooding, film on a priest turned into a vampire due to a blood transfusion. Kind of gets comical and flat out cartoonish at the last half or so of the movie, but it still remains interesting nonetheless.

Planet 51: Don't understand why it's so poorly rated, I found it quite fun and entertaining, and a nice change from the heavy action movies I've been watching lately. Astounding how a bunch of Spaniards know more about 1950s American culture than most Americans do.

A movie about a cow foetus (which is as big as a scampi) killing people. And it ain't a comedy.
The Godfather: Part II
A bit less engaging compared to the first but still extremely good.
