Actually, there are sixteen daedric princes, yes, but the Oblivion planes you go to through the gates are all within Mehrunes Dagon's realm. Other princes have a different kind of realm; if another Daedric prince had decided to attack the mortal realm, the Oblivion gates could've brought you to some kind of hideously cute, pink, bunny-infested candyland.
The Shivering Isles are basically Sheogorath's version of the Oblivion planes you visit through the gates, for example.

I can see what you mean with the AA thing. However, I personally never use AA in a game unless I can run it comfortably with all settings maxed. Just a matter of personal preference.

^Actually, I was just about to point that out about the gates. First of all, beaucse I swore there wre more than 16 gates on my map at one point or another.
As for me, even if I try to turn on AA it doesn't seem to do anything so I leave it off just in case.

I never said Oblivions graphics weren't that great , I was just trying something new, I guess I didn't fade the lines enough. havn't you guys ever heard of Sun Rays from other games?

WOW this is incredible, I havn't even checked out the Vice City part yet, but GTA 3's city looks amazing, it doesn't have that gloomy look anymore

My SA is screwed up for some reason. I tried reinstalling it on two different hard drives and it just won't start up no matter what I try. :/

Anyway, I tried out the new HL2 Cinema mod, and god damn it's incredible. If you just go outside and look down at the road texture for example, it looks photo realistic since it's so high res. Yes, there's a performance hit but it's well worth it. Definately playing through HL2 again with this mod.
