It has an easy menu to deal with. A nice version of the James Bond Theme song. Now, the main game itself. I has an amazing opening sequence. Just like the James Bond movies except for the storyline in the beginning. It has nothing to do with the rest of the game except for the fact that it has James Bond and M's voice. The gameplay stretches from easy to really hard. I had trouble with the easiest mode, yet it is passable. The mixture of stealth and action is very well done. Sometime you will be at the edge of your seat while playing the game (I know I did). The driving sequences are exceptionally done. The best one is the motor bike. It aslo has flying and racing mixed into it. The pointing style is not the easiest, yet it could be done (It's hard to get platinum, I still haven't gotten all plat.). Now, the controls. This game has one of the easiest control system I've ever seen in games. Tatgeting, which is extremely easy, is where you want it to be, R1 (on PS2). The change from FPS to Third Person is very well done. The tutorials are well done, too. They help out alot. The two player mode works best with Co-Op (I, personally, believe that multy player sucks when not on Co-Op). The gameplay gets a 9.5 out of 10. Now, graphics. I will say that the graphics of this game are very well done, although not the best. The way that they got Pierce Brosnan was very amazing. The other characters were very well done. Although that the graphics were good, not all of them were. There were some times that the graphics and the animations looked very blocky. Other than than that, I give the graphics an 8.5 out of 10 The story is one of the best stories (excluding the Getaway) I've ever experianced. It keeps you in it all the way. Yet, there was a huge flaw. Jaws!!!! He was supposed to be dead!!!!! At the end of Moonraker, he floated away into space with the girl. Even if he was still alive, he would've been a good guy. He helped Bond escape. The story, although a new approach, is still the same as always. Crazy man with powerful weapon and he is not afraid to use it. He has an accomplise and she tricks the good guy, but the good guy finds another girl who works with another organization who helps him save the day. The new approach was the nano-bots. The thing that boosts the points for the story line is the cast. It has Pierce Brosnan (the real Bond), Judi Dench, John Cleese, Willam Dafoe, Shannon Elizabeth (who is extremely beautiful), Richard Kiel (Jaws), Haidi Klum, and Mya (also the artist of the theme song). I would give the story an 9 out of 10 Now, for the last part; sound. It has an amazing soundtrack that goes with the opening movie (like in the real Jame Bond movies). "Everything or Nothing" by Mya is very well done. Yet, some of the lines are very cheesy. I guess they tried to make it too kiddish. They sould've made it like the movies more with the writting. I thing they should've gotten the writter of the movies and he should've written this. Other that, I think that sound is very well done. I give it a 9 out of 10. Overall, I give the game an 8.5 out of 10. Not a must buy, but suggested that you do. If not buy, a rent. Mostly for stealth action shooter fans. Thanks for reading my review. There are more on the way. (The Getaway, Driv3r, XIII, Rouge Agent, and other games (probably not San An, the would be along review and I have to find the time)) ![]() *Does This Help?* Last edited by Twisted Metal : 05-11-2005 at 07:54 PM. |
