Saints Row IV

can't wait for this to release soon, I hope its just as good as SR3 was, that was a blast to play.

I heard it uses the same game engine too, only difference is SR4 will be DX11 only, where as SR3 had DX9 and DX11

I'm really keen to buy this but think I'll wait a little. 40 is a little too steep for me so I'll wait and hopefully pick it up for more like 25-30 and wait and see if there's any performance issues etc at launch.

game is already out, it released at 10PM PST yesterday (the 19th)

I havn't seen ny complaints on it yet as far as performance, it uses the same exact game engine as SR3.

I still haven't finished 3, despite enjoying it a heap.

I shall be waiting

Looks fun, but I'm not paying 40 for a PC game, ever.

It supports 10.

As far as this goes, this will probably be purchased the same way SR3 was, a couple years after release on sale for 7 bucks with all DLC.

Played SR3 for almost 2 hours, had it crash on me and didn't play it again lol.

Played it, beat it, it's lots of fun but still feels like a big expansion to SR3 rather than a full fledged $60 game. Still a fun experience and worth it, especially if you're a fan of SR2 and 3. The references and character crossovers are ridiculous.

It feels like an expansion because it was going to be an expansion.

SR4 is a somewhat disappointment to me, what they did is fun, but I was expecting a whole new game world and everything, but all they did is build off of Saints Row 3 and expand on it. So SR4 is basicly SR3 with a new DLC is the way I see it. NOT worth the $50 price because of this.

That's literally what it is.
A planned dlc for sr3 that they decided to make a "full game" and charge $60 for.
