I'm sure there will be plenty of interior stuff, but it'll all have to be loaded when going in and out. And I was just playing Just Cause 2 for a bit and that map is fucking ginormous and it's on consoles. And if you're up high enough you can see everything the map has to offer. So I'm sure they won't have any trouble loading all the mountainside and city stuff.

God. Remember the PS2 version of San Andreas? The draw distance in that? My word. lol

We really need next gen consoles soon. Sony's '10 year plan' does not keep up with the speed technology is advancing. And DVDs ran out of room for games years ago.
Maybe we have better compression technology available.

Sweet screenies and info, can't wait for Trailer #2 coming next week.
So, romancing is removed, how about hookers? I've seen them i some concept art, but if romance is removed are they still in the game?

Since you don't romance hookers, um...yes?

I personally didnt even like the idea of multiple protagonists, but the way they made it, it could work VERY well. You can switch to a different character and different perspective of a mission, or stay the same character throughout the game.. It gives us multiple options. Its a good feeling knowing the worst part of this will be deciding which character I want to play as.

That's my biggest worry. I'm not a big gamer so I only own the 4GB 360. I hope they have some kind of magic up their sleeves or I may be screwedl.

My HD is tiny. I have 20GB I think.

But I will buy a $100 HD if it means getting GTA V to play smoothly and so Rockstar doesn't have to downgrade the experience at all.

Seriously.

Sell your XBOX 360 on craigslist or ebay.Or trade it into Gamestop towards a PS3.

The XBOX 360 version is going to be at least 3 and probably more like 4 or 5 discs.

Just look at how big L.A. Noire was for XBOX 360.

I think you'd be better off with a xbox360 version though, PS3 doesn't have the option to install the game to the HDD. They might have blu-ray discs but I imagine it'd still play smoother when you have the game installed to the hard-drive.

L.A. Noire was probably 3 discs because of the face-scanning technique they used, the city was very dull and empty

The PS3 will still do an install, and install all the important stuff, just the game chooses what needs to be installed rather than just installing the whole thing.

Yes it does, in addition to vastly superior disc space.

4 or 5 discs is a bit laughable. Prob will be multi-disc but LA Noire was on 3 discs due to the facial scan technology they used. The only problem with the 360 version is catering to those who have older consoles with very limited hard drive space. I don't think they can force an install so do they put the whole map and whatever else they can fit on 1 disc, then mission specific audio/cutscenes on the other so you switch discs at one point in the story. I just hope they give me an option to install and keep 1 disc in there instead of switching.
