The preload is available on steam now for those that pre ordered it.

for some odd reason its only 4.6GB? smaller then I expected, I wonder if its either compressed or if they are gonna release it in chunks to prevent trying to crack it.

Preloading is basically downloading the game files in an encrypted state, and only Valve has the decryption keys.

So I don't really know if splitting the preload process is necessary because pirates or their suppliers can't even decrypt it in the first place. At worst when the game is released they would have to simply download the rest of the game and then upload it to various private FTP's / Topsites.

At that size I really hope you're right Nite, or they just decided to use the best compression they could find.

Played for about an hour and a half. I found the first one repetitive and the storyline boring, this one's no different.

I like the amount of settings they give you though, more games should have the same.

Yeah it's a Borderlands game, so if you don't like the first one this one won't be any different.

If you liked the first title, then you'll enjoy this because it's better in basically every possible way.

It's goddamn amazing. Trying out the Assassin character cause he seems pretty different. Fun so far.

Are you playing alone? I hated playing the first one alone but it was pretty good when with a group.

Borderlands is the type of game where you really don't need to pay attention to the 'story'

Just put a playlist on, and run and gun.

I'm playing borderlands 2 in single player just fine, hard in many parts but it wouldn't be fun without a challenge. Just be sure to work on the side missions as you progress the storyline you need the experience points to make it easier.

The game is suppose to scale the enemys depending on the number of players too, the more players on the server the harder the enemys and the better the loot
