I don't. I don't buy brand named pc's I make them my self, because then I get exactly what I want, its more powerful than brand name pc's and its alot cheaper. As great as alienware pc's are, you can make exactly the same pc for a fraction of the price. Same with dell, packard bell ect. Complete rip off.

@ Gtamurrmurr, I dont have a alienware computer, like Mouldy said its best to make your own system that way you get what you want, but i do have the alienware theme on my computer you can get on Xp styles.

Yeah, Mouldy is right. Buying an Alienware PC means paying for a flashy case, paying for cable tidy, paying for magic screws that will save you all of 30 seconds.

Although, Click the ads!!!! It pays the bandwidth. LoL.

An alienware machine isn't faster than a computer that you can build for way less money. Heck, even going to abscomputers.com or ibuypower.com will save you money. Just don't go with alienwhere.

The only people who buys that machine, are people who don't ask questions about computers, or people who loves blowing money on something that they'll replace in a couple of years.

What kind of computer do you have right now? It could save you money if just upgraded unstead of buying a new computer. It sort of depends on your budget.

Mouldy and Neil are both right. Custom beats Cmplete. Alienware do have good appearance and are pretty good but I would rather a custom any day of the week.

I have a gateway pentium 4 with a ge force 4 mx 440 video card.

You need to check and make sure you have an AGP slot and at least a 300watt power supply. 350watts if you get the XT version.

I'm sure you have AGP if you have a Pentium 4 Gateway and a GF4. I dont see why gateway wouldn't add one. Also make sure you have Windows 2000 or XP. Otherwise the driver wont work properly.

I saw an alienware in the store and fell in love with it. It was when they were buying their cases from chieftec, and slapping their name on em. So then a few months later, I saw some chieftec cases on the internet, bought one(lime gereen) and I built my own. Now whenever soemone sees my comp they thinks its an alienware, and I have the pc I want. I will probably never buy a brand name desktop again. I will be gettign an alienware laptop for a graduation present though when I go off to college.

My friend has an Alienware PC, he says it is a waste of money, which i can agree with. Building a pc takes literally like 15 mins, and making it cable tidy; use cable ties, duuh. Want it looking flashy? Get a spray can, and spray the whole thing, then put a thin layer of gloss on it. Done. Alienware - bah, its Simple-and-money-saving-ware Lol its such a waste of money!
