10 Reasons To Buy This Game

Hey guys, at first I was not really fond of RDR, but as I have read through most of your comments, the game actually seems to be like a GTASA but in the Wild West. So I give you a chance to try and convince me to buy this game, gimme some reasons to buy RDR.

Just to say, it is NOT like San Andreas. There are no ganstas, no ghetto gang bangin, etc, the only way it's similar to San Andreas is the vast environment and play area, but I wouldn't really define that as Like San Andreas.

No, it's like San Andreas in that it's so expansive imo. I remember San Andreas for there being so much stuff to do, and it's just like that with RDR. The amazing environment, graphics, and size of the map blow me away. It actually feels real with nearly everything being interactive. People randomly coming up to you for help on various tasks, the stranger side mission quests on top of that, all the hunting you can do, games like poker, black jack, liars dice, all this make this game feel endless..

When will people learn that San Andreas was not the benchmark for which to compare every other God damn sandbox game??

Rockstar made it, that's a given. But it's so much more than a sandbox game, the environment is mind blowing graphically and the way the wildlife and citizens react with each other is fantastic. Like watching wolves hunt in packs or lawmen chasing a criminal, it's all here.

This game has set a whole new standard for sandbox titles and I think Rockstar have more than made up for GTA IV

And the bigger the animal the longer it takes, so start skinning horses since their skins sell for $2.

At least someone realises that! San Andreas isn't the be all and end all of Sand Box games, the way some people hype that game up is immense.

I compared it to San Andreas in that it gave me the same feeling of endless opportunity when it came out. It wasn't the end all be all sandbox game, but at the time it was. RDR is very much the best sandbox style game out atm, of which I like more than GTA:IV. RDR has sooo much things to it, like you mentioned. Exactly the way San Andreas was 6 years ago, with so many things to it to do and such a big map. If people are comparing it, what's the problem anyway? It's their opinion?
