Problem with camera
I have a problem with the camera.
when i steal a car, the camera is from a low position and i can only see the bumper.
i use the mouse to lift the camera and watch the road but i goes again in the same place.
what can i do for this???
Offtopic: will a new patch come out.because i am forced to play in the lower analysis

Did you install the latest GTA4 patch? that might be the problem thats causing it because it messed up alot of stuff for many users.

Thanks for that link, just re-installed the game myself, the patch actually fixed some things, I can actually see the city now and play the game in low quality. Just having this slight problem of the camera being launched in the air above Nikos head and above the car.
edit: Sadly R* fix didn't work, controller was undetected when I plugged it in during the game, exit the game it was fine, start the game again, camera problems still exists. Now I know Rockstar are having a lot of problems at the moment, so I can sympathise with them, I mean, getting messed around like that I'd want to fuck up a game to, it's not like previous GTA Games on PC used these controllers perfectly.

I have a problem with my controller,I plugged in restarted the windows and ran the game,still same problem,shit...

Check if you have any controllers plugged in. Also, if you have a controller/joystick plugged in, go to Control Panel -> Game Controllers -> Properties. Then, applying no force to the X-,Y-, or Z-Axises, see if the red cross hair moves a little bit. If that's the case, make the sensitivity a bit lower.
Otherwise, unplug a DirectInput device (controllers, joysticks, etc.). Hope this helps!
