Full version of San Andreas available to buy next week from Xbox Live

Microsoft have announced that GTA: San Andreas will be available to purchase on Xbox Live next week for 1200 Points. The disc version of the game is already compatible with Xbox 360 systems but the addition to the Xbox Originals lineup on Xbox Live marks the first time that a Grand Theft Auto title has been distributed digitally on a console.

Americans should mark their calendars for Monday but gamers elsewhere may face a longer wait as Microsoft is yet to confirm plans outside of North America. The game will cost $14.99 in real money.

Anyone going to buy this?

yeah , my version for the ps2 broke so im gonna buy it

All of the GTAs run horrible on 360, even at 480p. I can only hope they've improved performance before releasing it.

All of the other Xbox Originals are direct ports of the disc-based games.

This is a BAD choice, San Andreas was a rushed port, it would of been better if they released GTA III or Vice City since those were improved upon for the Xbox and took advantage of the graphics and loading times.
