Anyone come across this? Agent Ironside on NeoGAF posted the following:

"Just some tidbits from the Xbox 360 World mag review.

+ unfeasibly rich gameworld

Conclusion : Everything we were entitled to expect, and yet somehow impossibly more."

Their billions and billions of profit will soon show EA that they are more than capable of handling things themselves. Not that they have to prove anything, but it will shut them up at least.

This really has nothing to do with the topic. You are delusional to think that a single game could make anything CLOSE to $1Bn in profit.

gtaIV will probly be next game of the year like as big (if not bigger) as cod4 last year

On that last part, thats not the first time I have read that in a review(if its true). I had my doubts about it being received that way, but now im starting to wonder if it will get that kind of universal praise.

idk man it seems o be a pretty big deal. gtaIV is every where. halo3 sold more copies on its opening week than Wii had sold its console. so only a portion of those people will get Wiifit and mario cart. and GTAIV seems to be more af a big deal than halo3 ,and most halo fans love gta so they will get it so thats millions of people buying this game. and i hope they wont ave to do updates on 360 server again because of the loads of people going online >=P

GTA is a series geared to a discerning and mature audience. Mario Kart and Wii Fit are catered to everyone. We've all seen how popular the wii has been. I'm just saying based off simple numbers, a major wii game could beat GTA in total sales.

I also don't believe GTA will be GOTY. The year is still early. Many games have yet to be released. Im leaning towards an epic rpg will get the GOTY title *cough*Fallout3*cough*

The Wii? All that console is good for is collecting dust! Almost all their games are crap, and Mario Kart isn't getting nearly as much hype or support from fans. GTA is selling out and it hasn't even been released!
P.S. GTAIV will be the best videogame ever
