Scripthook dot net problems
Hello everyone, I have problems with scripthook dot net ( I have researched online and could not find any solutions that worked). I am using
- gta iv patch 220.127.116.11
-scripthook.net 18.104.22.168 BETA
-.Net FrameWork 4
ERROR= black screen after the game tries to load my save file (I do not have a corrupted save file, as the game works fine w/o scripthookDOTnet). I do not hear anything, and I have to CTRL+ALT+DELETE my way out.
For whatever reason, the scripthook dot net asi is not working. GTA IV works without dot net asi and works with other mods. For example, visual IV, ultimate textures, first person, vehicle selection. I simply cannot make this work with scripts. In the log, which is at the bottom, there are no problems. I do not understand why this is not working. Scripts work for EFLC (Episodes From Liberty City), so the problem lies in gta iv.
The Log when I try to run Scripthook dot net.
Special Note 1 = I am using the older scripthook b/c it is the only one that seems to work for my patch (I have tried the newer versions as well).
Special Note 2 = I have tested running with no scripts at all. The game still does not work.

Hmm, the only thing I can think of would be the C++ redistributable from Microsoft (download link is in the .NET script hook thread). But I assume you also downloaded and installed that when you got the .NET framework.
What makes this very strange is that the scripts work in EFLC, and there aren't any error messages in the log file...

Angry Amoeba is right. Only thing that seems wrong is C++ redistributable.
Even if you are using x64 windows, download x86 as the game runs on 32 bit packages!!
