Exclamation Need help with a mod

I just recently got a car mod that replaces default cars. Anyone know any good traffic mods? All i see is taxis and 2 types of cars and police. If so please post and could you show me steps to install it? Like which folders to put it in? The read-me's that come with the mods aren't that very detailed.

Car mod is this: http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/ci...ack-v12-f11837

Thanks.

Well this taxi bug is not really fixable .. there are mods like Trafficload or Traffic Control System that work a little for some people (but I wouldnt recommend it if you have a slower pc) . The best option is not to install custom cars.. the game runs so much smoother without custom cars and taxibugfixes

I wholeheartedly disagree, I have a fully modded game and I don't have the Taxi bug. Most people get the bug and yet others don't. The taxi bug is fixable, just that no one has been able to determine the cause of it. So those of us who don't have the bug don't know exactly what we did, but I can assure you that with a LOT of patience and trial and error it can be resolved. I have personally experienced moments where my GTA has developed the bug, then after simply swapping out 1 car for another the bug is gone. There are tons of theories as to what causes it, the most widely believed is that there is a size barrier on the vehicle.img file of 200 some odd Mb's which I have also personally debunked that theory as well seeing that I have a 618Mb img file.

As for the game running smoothly, well, that will just depend on your hardware because it runs VERY smoothly for me. I don't even have the best GPU, "GTS 250 1GB" but the rest of my machine is more than eager.

Well I have a amd radeon hd 6950 graphics card, 4gb ram and intel core i5 2500 processor and still some of those antitaxibugs make my game slower.. might be that I'm the only one but I don't think so. As for the taxi bug.. I believe the cause was custom vehicles being bigger in size and there for harder to load (correct me if I'm wrong). Wierd that some people don't have the taxibug.. might be your traffic density settings if you have it on 20 for example the bug is less likely to appear.
