Not sure if any of you ever watch Minecraft videos, outside Yogscast. But I've been a fan of The Minecraft Crew for a few months and their videos are pretty entertaining. It's a dad, his daughter, and her daughters friends. The kids are all about 6 or 7 and they're adorable. But the last few weeks they've been doing some fan-made quest videos. Usually made by kids about the same age, if not a little older. But they're all really neat to watch. Anywho. I've been working on my own map for them and just recently decided to also add a CTB (Capture The Block) to the map, as an added bonus once the quest is completed. An idea that I've had for months, but was never sure on how to execute it all. Until last night at 3 o'clock in the morning. lol

(The red tower isn't finished, I just ran out of red wool)

I'll have to grab some other screenshots, but basically the sides are mirrored. One being wood/blue and the other cobblestone/red. Still working on ideas for the rules. Since it's my first time trying to do this, I tried to keep it simple. Also because they're 6-7 years old and I didn't want it to be confusing. So a lot of inspiration came from TF2 and how you can easily distinguish between the sides. So I tried to incorporate the colors wherever I could, without just making the entire things just red and blue. That would be hideous.

Besides this, the quest is still being worked on and I've had some help from the girlfriend putting things together. I still need to put up directions and signs, fill chests with treasure, and create a story.

EDIT: More screenshots.
