I've liked all of their albums, but I wasn't going to place all of them down. If put yeah I probably liked Humbug slightly more than there other albums, I know some people don't, but I thought it was pretty decent. And as I said, that's just scraping the top of my head in concerns to albums. I'll post some more when I can recall them.

But yeah I can understand why some people didn't like it, but I thought it was decent.

I take it you're a fan of Elliot Smith then?

Yeah i get that it was just quick draw thinking of albums, cause i realised i didn't put a single Blink-182 album in my selection and they're one of my favourite bands

But my problem with Humbug was Turner had basically just released another Shadow Puppets album, and i hated them... I liked the Arctic Monkeys when they was more fast paced rock, first album will always be my favourite but i guess that's just my opinion

And i've heard some stuff, i wouldn't be able to recall album names but i know the artist.

Good to see another Mos Def fan, don't think i've ever seen anyone mention him on here

I don't mind Shadow Puppets.

And yes Mos Def is a great artist, infact one of the only hip hop artists to get better as he goes on, he's pretty much the polar opposite of Common in that regard. I've enjoyed all of Mos Def's albums so far.

Green Day - American Idiot

Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am....That's What I'm Not.

Foxboro Hot Tubs - Stop Drop And Roll

In before "URS ALL SUX M8" but these artists are pretty much the only current bands I listen to.

1.Joshua Radin - We Were Here

The reason for me that this is number is that his songs have touched me. I think no musician is better than this.
2.Damien Rice - 9

3.Kanye West - Graduation

Aesop Rock ~ Float (2000). Television is a sick track, so is 6B Panorama. Mos Def has some nice beats n sounds, but I can't get into his style very much. I know I liked a couple songs on that album, n that one intro about the guns the pilots have is pretty cool too.

I adore Humbug, musically it's a very daring step and while it has alienated a certain degree of fans, Alex Turner's lyrics have been brought up to another level in it. I love the vivid imagery in a lot of his songs.

I want contribute to this thread, but I feel as though there's little point. Hardly anyone shares much of my musical preferences, however broad they may seem (to me, at least).

Edit: I didn't read it was only 3 albums. Much tougher there.

Edit2: Not that I posted any to begin with.

autofury is on a distinguished road
Queens of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf

I feel as though QOTSA is the last good example of rock. They're not emo or any of that pop crap, and every member of QOTSA have shown to be fantastic musicians.

Audioslave - Audioslave

Soundgarden was always one of my favourites, so Audioslave is naturally a band I like a lot.

The Melvins - (A) Senile Animal

This will always be one of my favourite albums. I was quite surprised by how "awesome" it was when I first heard it in 2007.

These would probably be the three albums i liked the most when they first came out. My current favourites would probably be different.

Amon Amarth - Twilight Of The Thundergod

Ronald Jenkees - Disorganized Fun

In Flames - Come Clarity

Thrice - Vhiessu

Tool - Lateralus

August Burns Red - Constellations

With my taste for softness and intensity, I feel these three have been the best albums I've ever heard in my life (so far). I have a hard time choosing besties, so I may change my mind constantly.
