Good for you man. Quitting smoking is hard but well worth it. My uncle is in the Hospital with throat cancer caused from smoking.

My father smoked for about 20 years and quit 2 years before i was born.

My mother was a heavy smoker, but one day going home from work she decided to light a cig while driving home. Wasn't looking at the road while she was looking for a lighter and collided with another car.

After that experience she also decided to quit.

Personally I smoked for some time, but quit after a while for no reason other than my health. Right now i get occasional dreams about smoking, but I'm still resisting the urge.

It's going to be very hard, but in the end it's worth it

I've never taken up smoking, but a couple of managers of the store i work with did and they're heaps happier now that they've gone through the quitting stage. So much healthier, less antisocial, smell better (which is important cause they work in retail), throat feels better and saving heaps of money.

edit: Also, i should add, up until a few months ago i used to have one or two smokes when i was drinking if people offered me one, but i quit even doing that. And it feels heaps better even quitting that. Seeing as i drink probably 5 nights a week most weeks, its a bit of a difference. I quit doing that because i found every morning after i'd smoked i'd have an annoying little cough from an irritated throat. So now i only ever smoke pot if i get offered. No cigarettes at all.

I stopped for a week, stress got to me and I smoked two packs in two days, but I stopped yesterday with no urges yet. Stress shouldn't be a problem now, I'll just hit up the pipe

I never smoked cigs in my life so i never had this problem. Actually that's not entirely true. I took a drag from a friends cig just do demonstrate a french inhale. After that I had this bad taste in my mouth and had to spit the taste out. So, I can't really relate, but good for you for quiting in concern of your health. Hope you keep it up!

They're rubbish. No taste, no smell, nothing. You smoke for the taste, aroma, smell etc. It's enjoyable. Electronic cigarettes are without all the things that make a cigarette enjoyable to smoke.

it's mainly hand to mouth coordination.
My stepdad stopped by using the patch for a few days, and ate sunflower seeds for about two years straight.

I smoke, but not often, only when its offered.
smoked weed this past weekend, but bad idea, considering im trying to find a decent job that doesn't involve food.
And most of those drug test you, but cigarette's are alright, but they aren't for me. I'll stick to Black&Milds.
Actually, i should stop that, too. Havent had one in about a week.
